Love this so much. The remoteness of my memory for this music is dreamlike. But… it’s there! Soooo long ago.

What a breath of fresh air. I went to WDW for the first time in 1978. I didn't go on the People Mover then but I remember seeing it and wanting to go.

Peoplemover was often the first ride we'd hit when our parents started letting my brother and I wander alone (we were about 13, would've been 1992ish). Mainly I enjoyed that it was just a chill tour of that part of the park where there was often no lines. But I was also a TRON fan, so I loved seeing lightbikes projected onto a giant room wall.
It's interesting to look back and notice things I never noticed then, like how out of place the 1960s music was in Tomorrowland in 1993, and how cheap that TRON segment really was compared with the rest of the part (it's really just one giant room with TRON scenes projected as you drive through).
One thing they did keep up to date were the arcade games in Starcade, and the 90s to me were the golden era of arcade games so I always had a blast there.

@Richard Conte There is no music specifically for the Peoplemover nowadays.

@Richard Conte They rewired and reprogrammed the Peoplemover speakers in the early spring of 1993 to play the Tomorrowland area loop from then on.

It's pretty incredible to me that both Disneyland and Disney World's PeopleMovers used the same soundtrack for 20 years!

The ride the PeopleMover was at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA was from Sunday, July 2, 1967 until it broke down on Monday, August 21, 1995. Then it became Rocket Rods on Friday, May 22, 1998 and lasted through Monday, September 25, 2000.
The Tomorrowland's above ground platform has been standing but not operating since Tuesday, September 26, 2000.
By late July 2018, the Tomorrowland could remove the Rocket Rods Observatron from the pylon then they could remove all the old PeopleMover / Rocket Rod tracks between tearing down and rebuilding.
Around 2021-2023, as opposed to the Old PeopleMover (1967-1995) & Rocket Rods (1998-2000), in the same above ground platform, because of the possibility of people with wheelchair or mobility scooters, instead of the New PeopleMover, we all know it could be Heathrow Pod Tour, it could be iMover, it could be Boxcar Tour or it could be a new ride with normal speed that is more comfortable than ever before.

This was basically the Disneyland PeopleMover loop, plus the Monorail Song.

BNSF1995 The Disneyland version actually used completely different tracks. Though very similar in sound, they were not the same BGM loop.

11:20 makes me kinda sad for reasons
    1. DLA Peoplemover gone
    2. Tomorrowland getting ruined by Verne and Wells
    3. The closing of several great Tomorrowland attractions
    4. How today's kids (except me) don't know the golden age of tomorrowland (1975-1994)
    5. DO SOMETHING TO DLA'S PEOPLEMOVER TRACK
