@@Tezwah prayer works, but you also have to do what you can to get out of the difficulty you're in. I've prayed and have had things work out despite the odds being stacked against me. But I also had to do everything I could in my power to help. Sometimes miracles do happen.

We have tested prayer and it fails every time. It is statistically the same as chance. Take ownership of the good things you bring into your life by hard work don't give the credit to a most likely non existent deity
@@Tezwah I do take credit for doing what I needed to do to get through difficulties, but I also thank God, the universe, higher power, whatever you want to call it as well, because in times of great desperation, you cannot always see the way through. And you may call it chance, but I call it someone or something helping me out. I may be wrong, and maybe there isn't a higher power. The thing is, I cannot say with absolute certainty one way or the other. It's just something you feel. There are strange things in life that we cannot always prove one way or another.
If you don't believe in prayer, that's totally fine. Everyone's life experiences are different. Growing up, I didn't really believe in God or prayer either. But that all changed when I started facing harsh difficulties in my 20s. I'm just saying every time I was in a desperate situation and prayed, they always worked out. So for me, I'll keep working hard, but I'll also keep praying. Because so far, it's worked for me.

How dumb do people have to be to find this believable or inspiring? He is the most crooked and crackpot preacher I've ever hear and I grew up in a Christian cult where a dude named Mark Grungor use to put advertisements for his CDs into his sermons and told his congregation that he needed to marry a woman half his age, two months after his wife died, because God apparently told him to. Yet, somehow, Steve manages to find a less moral and ethical, and more selfish, interpretation of a religious text. That takes skills.
But its cool.
