I love San Francisco! A long ago we were in San Francisco in August and it was so cold, 15C in August. I went back in October and the weather was perfect maybe 20C. Sutro Baths Amazing location. We walked from Sutro Baths to the Golden Gate Bridge, what a beautiful walk. We also walked from Castro to Twin Peaks, so beautiful.

Im a local and enjoyed your video. The one touristy things I recommend to friends visiting is a night tour of Alcatraz. It's really interesting and full of history, plus you get a sweet ferry ride. Thanks for showing off local businesses. A lot of my favs have had to shut down or move due to gentrification. So support local businesses as much as you can! Ps: calling San Francisco "San Fran" automatically marks you as a tourist. Say "SF" or "the city" instead lol.
I’m from Oakland originally and have lived in the Bay Area my whole life.... but you still learn and can discover new things every day, why it’s awesome. Dig that you guys went back to the very beginning and enjoy hearing the hiSTORIES 👍✌️🌊
San Francisco is an amazing place. For cheap eats (travelers on a budget) China Town and street tacos/ food trucks are the place to go. I need to go back to this city. I miss it.
As a San Franciscan I appreciated this well made video. As a drone pilot, I'd just like to offer a little advice in that you should calibrate the horizon before flight so your aerial footage is level. Most people probably wouldn't have noticed...but I'm sure some did. Keep up the good work!
Really wish we would have seen something like this before our weekend in SF; we just kind of got lost in the city and played everything by ear. It will be nice to go back for a visit with this knowledge.
Just now watching this 2 yr old vlog as today is Sept 2019 and so much has changed in SF .. we have lots if new skyscrapers, a new 4 block long transit center that has an amazing rooftop park , a new sports and entertainment arena , a renovated and expanded convention center etc... So everyone, please check out my city !!
The best burrito in San Francisco, and the USA is El Farolito. On 24th and Mission near Bart. That's the one that gets all the recognition, and I do believe its the best. Being from California and trying them all

I just visited for the first time back in July of this year for a little over a week and I feel like I didn't even scratch the surface. Definitely have to go there again soon
Your well done, easy-going video takes me back to those ancient days in the late 60s when I was a student at Pomona College, 50 miles east of Los Angeles. I made frequent pilgrimages to San Francisco, to include two summers working and grokking, participating in peace marches against the Vietnam war, attending rock concerts in parks, the Fillmore Auditorium and the Avalon Ballroom.... Many of the restaurants, shops and coffee houses I frequented then are gone now, but others remain (City Lights Books, where I once saw Lawrence Ferlinghetti chatting with friends).... Still, the city remains a rich, highly diverse center of culture and entertainment.
So I’m basically very lucky to only live a 40 minute drive away from San Francisco? I’m from San Jose, but honestly the whole Bay Area and just the state itself is amazing! I agree, there shouldn’t be any compassion whether northern or southern California is better. Thanks for also bringing a new perspective of San Francisco, I would view it as a touristic city.
you did a great job of SF in one day. I lived at Hayes and Baker about 8 blocks from where you had coffee and four blocks from Haight Ashbury. I loved living in SF. But it's a world class city and needs four days to explore not just one.
Crossing the Golden Gate bridge on bikes to sit in a forest that makes time it self stand still is worth taking a weekend trip to Muir Woods National Park. Doing some research on the Red Wood trees before going and knowing what makes the forest so quiet is a good idea as well.
Must visit Japan Town! I’m a native born and raised in San Francisco and Marin. So many cool spots you missed. Glide Memorial Church Saint Peter and Paul’s Mama’s Mueseo Italian amarican museum Greens restaurant The most goes on and on And I agree Jack and Steve EPIC

YAAS Twin Peaks! One of my favorite views in the city. That archaeological dig was really cool! - Bernal Heights is an adorable neighborhood. If you walk to the top of Bernal Heights Park there's a tree swing with an incredible view of the city. Nearby Elsie street is this crazy small and hilly street with even more views. There are a bunch of little viewpoint parks as you take the stairs down the the hill. - Stern Grove in the Outer Sunset is this amazing grove of trees and park space that's cut in a bowl shape so you walk down into it and when you look around you you see nothing but nature, no city! During the summer there's a concert series where everyone brings chairs and blankets and food. - Divisadero (people call it "Divis") Street is one of my favs to walk down. Really awesome cafes, restaurants, and shops and it'll take you right to the north edge of the city in the Marina over some crazy hills yo.

Love the video as always, you never disappoint. I was there last week and ate at La Taqueria, didn't try the burrito but I did try the taco dorado with lengua, and although it's the most expensive taco I've had it was also the best. And I'm from Mexico. So good!

I am a local., next time you guys come , check out San Francisco's Japantown (Nihonmachi) its great! I love my city...so much to do here and great places to eat, especially Asian cuisine from Malaysian to Vietnamese! Great food here! And the Dungeness Crab is very sweet!

Ritual Coffee in Hayes Valley!!! Great place to chill and have a bit of caffeine! My...this corner sure has changed over the years. I lived here back in the mid 90s...and...return almost every year to enjoy The City and the Hayes Valley/Fillmore area...among many other great areas in town.

Ritual Coffee in Hayes Valley!!! Great place to chill and have a bit of caffeine! My...this corner sure has changed over the years. I lived here back in the mid 90s...and...return almost every year to enjoy The City and the Hayes Valley/Fillmore area...among many other great areas in town.
I felt like I learned so much about a city even though it is so similar to cultures I have experienced and on the other side of the country for me.
