I love how there is so much footage that you had to split it up into separate videos. Super grateful for your content GB. I literally have been going through all your old videos and watching every single one of them. You're my favorite content creator. Keep it up brother. Much love. Good luck
GB, what I love the most about your videos aside from the fishing is the friendship you guys have. I’d love to have a group of guys like this with the same passion.
As a competitive angler myself I understand the stress levels and how they can mess you up. Stay cool, stay focused and above all follow your game plan and make sensible adjustments where needed.
Hey Greg, Just wanted to tell you that I stopped at Otisco Lake on my way home from Rochester the other day. I watched your video there and had to try it. The wacky thing that happened was that I saw a guy with his Hobie and said hello, asking him if he ever watched your videos. He said “Greg is my friend”. It was Bailey! ( #bethefish ) l told him that I watched you two guys fish Keuka. He encouraged me to fish tournaments. Nice guy! By the way, I caught a nice 16 1/4 inch largemouth from the bank at the park on my first cast with a green pumpkin bladed jig with sweet beaver trailer. Thanks for showing me Otisco Lake. Worth the stop on my way to Plattsburgh!
Alright Greg. Maybe it's just me but I'm happy to see that you did pretty damn good. You kept yourself in it. The last 15.50 with the chopo was a professional call and it worked. Good decisions Greg. Can't wait to see the rest.
Coffee, in hand 😂 Greg, i know you're frustrated. But you've stayed focused, not hopping around, and concentrating. You're actually fishing smart bro. And of course giving us a nail biter. Three days of it, but it's awesome!! 🎣 🌊 🛶
Hey Greg I just watched your day1 video. I think you had a good day fishing. Well I just wanted to say Hello and Good Luck on day 2 ! Greg go and give them Hell! I'm pulling for you brother. Have fun and be safe! I enjoy your content.
You are one of the most under rated content creators out there! Your editing style, the music, intros and outros, etc! I feel like i am a part of ya'lls friend group every time i watch a video. You have inspired me to get into the kayak tourney scene down here in Texas for next year. still have a few things to add to the yak (namely a motor and blackpak) but I am super excited! also note the bitly link for the rod carrier does not work. could you provide me with an updated link for that?
Thank you sir! You're in one of the best states to do it. Hmm thats strange try this one - bit.ly/32iGt4z Also perfect timing for the motor if ya go with a Newport as they just gave me a discount code (GREGBLANCHARD10) 10% off entire purchase through their site (bit.ly/45O8QGf). Good luck on the tourney journey!
@@GregBlanchardFishing that link worked! Newport is definitely on my list to research more. I’d love to eventually have spotlock but for now having something to give my legs a break should work just fine. I’m more of a shallow water power fisherman than offshore so spotlock isn’t a necessity as of yet
Had a random thought while watching your video. From a strategical perspective do you ever target specific areas where it lends itself to throwing baits that catch bigger fish? Ie targeting areas where you can throw a jig.
Your rod and reel mechanics are very good. I was reading the water in your footage the similar to how I would fish it bait selection, placement etc… One thing that differs between you and I was the Delta breeze was blowing and usually I throw traps or crank baits to hit the outside side of the trough as you call it. Right wrong indifferent why not try a rattle trap or medium diving crank? Is it because of the treble and dealing with that in a yak, but then again your top water choppo has trebles. Just curious and thank you for sharing and putting forth the effort to film and edit it.
the morning out to the spot was sketchy for sure but the yak is really stable even in that wind partly because I have it so loaded with gear it weights it down. But after that its really not that bad with pedal drive and rudder control.
Always wanted to know why do you leave your drain plugs out? There’s always like 1/2 gallon of water on your feet? I leave my plugs in. Am I missing something to there function??

Yessir! They all ended being right around 40 minutes too. Glad I didn't make it one video lol

Mike is now officially my favorite of your buddies! He wore a Slayer shirt! F'n awesome!
Regardless of scores, what a day of fishing!! Future aoy!!!!
Coffee here and there but mainly red bulls and monster!
You did great, and tomorrow you’ll do AWESOME!!!! I don’t think I have ever seen you catch that many fish in one outing‼️Loved the video, of course 😊
As a competitive angler myself I understand the stress levels and how they can mess you up. Stay cool, stay focused and above all follow your game plan and make sensible adjustments where needed.
Love the Slayer shirt on Mike.
" LMAO" Greg's always the designated, guy to climb in the back of "Santas" truck for the cases of beer. 😂 🍺 🎣
Great job grinding out there, it was a tough but fun tournament, glad to be able to meet you at the awards
That kind of day on any other day that wasn’t a tournament would have been a great day of catching fish!
Well Mr Sir .. deff and exciting video to watch way to keep grinding it out !! makes me want to tie on a chatterbait onto 3 different rods LoL ...

Nice! You ran into one of the best kayak anglers around. That place is special for sure.
16:59 SHARKKKKK
Hit with a cold and fever. Chickens soup and Greg Blanchard is the remedy.
Get well soon dude!
Keep your head up, Greg. Good work
Greg, love your videos and it was cool seeing you in victoria canal a few weeks ago
Pumped to watch this one. Let’s go Greg.
Busy day of pulling in fish!
Just wish they grew up a little!
I fished Friday and Saturday from B&W, wind sucked on Friday!!
I hit the delta on Sunday and same.. Most action all year. Nothing over 17" but a solid 5 hours of catching.
Alright Greg. Maybe it's just me but I'm happy to see that you did pretty damn good. You kept yourself in it. The last 15.50 with the chopo was a professional call and it worked. Good decisions Greg. Can't wait to see the rest.
Thanks Scott! Was really hoping to get "the one" with the low tide on the grass flats but it was a good fish to have
Thanks for taking us along Greg , all I'm gonna say is I don't think you should have spent so much time catching the Dinks. Good luck.
Loving the heady beats
Can’t wait for day 2!
Good Morning Greg! Good luck at the WCC and AOY!!

Thanks for sharing!
Good luck Greg! Been looking forward to this one!
I’ll tune in when I get to work sometime. Looking forward to the adventure GB.
Let's go!!!!
Good luck!!
To be continued………Noooooooooo I can’t wait!
Perfect time for a video drop I’m just over here at home from work with cellulitis in my leg from a fishing hook stabbing me! Ima real one
❤Lodi

Come on Blanchard! Need day 2! 😂

Let's gooooooo!
You should come down to SoCal and show us how to catch these pressured bass
Let get it!!!!
I remember G - team outdoors, back in the day of little tournaments at Castaic lagoon
You got this 😊
Crap man, I didn’t expect you to finish outside 20. Top ten was finding the big ones. Where the heck were they? You had the numbers for sure.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who fishes wearing a Slayer shirt...
Good luck greg!!! I hope you take AOY!!!!! YOU BETTER! hahahaha
Man, I need more G-Man videos!!!
Coffee and GB great way to start the day
Hey that was probably the most fish in a video you have had in a bit, that was some good feeding fish, sucks they were dinks but it is what it is.
Fishing starts at 11:27
Greg you got this brother
Made me Google sh!it kit. I made my own kit, but good to know that there are ready-to-go packages available.
Oh damn, that pizza looked good man 👀
Caught more bass in this video than I did all year
U ever trying fishing at the afterbay?
Shoulda stayed at Rivers End. 100% 🤣
Back to using the z man chatter over the slobber knocker? confidence thing?
Yeah and wanted something with just a little bitter smaller blade for fishing the trough Vs grass or wood
@@GregBlanchardFishing makes sense. Great vid btw, good luck with aoy.

Must’ve caught about 40 fish. How are you keeping your yak steady with all that wind?
the morning out to the spot was sketchy for sure but the yak is really stable even in that wind partly because I have it so loaded with gear it weights it down. But after that its really not that bad with pedal drive and rudder control.
What what I want to know is, how many beers per person per day on average is consumed on these trips!🎉🍻
Oh man I'd say as a collective group average 12.6/day 🤣
holy shit that 99‘
What go pros do you recommend? Do you have problems with yours over heating
D bomb bayou flash try it
I feel like Mike dropped some weight.
Are you still in the lead for angler of the year
I’m sure it’s already done, but I hope you pulled off AOY. This video has me worried a little bit.
🤘
Great pizza at VIP me and the wifey use to go there all the time back when we were dating… our go to pizza BBQ CHICKEN!!!!
Curious where the big fish were hiding
Not in that part of the delta lol
The delta isn't short of bass.
How are you not snagging more. I'd catch a tree in the middle of the Ocean
You should start adding to your videos the weather conditions. Temp, wind speed and gust. Etc…
☕️🎣🤙🏼
First to the key!!!!
20:00 looks like 12.5" to me.....
Thats was alot of dinks on 1 strip
do you guys actually get close to finishing off that many beers in a weekend? lol
Yeah lol 😂
Little fish lie………….LOL.
Hey Greg what happened with the kayak giveaway? I was looking forward to winning i really need a pedal drive kayak so i can start doing tournaments
They picked a winner and should be announced soon!
@@GregBlanchardFishing ok
That was a sketchy morning run! Low light in a kayak is bad enough, big water on the Delta in the dark? No thanks!
Why do I feel like having pizza now?
☕️💯
Find some cover.
@7:28 Greg thinks this dude is super hot!
Not that there's anything wrong with that...😅
🤣🤣🤣

Always wanted to know why do you leave your drain plugs out? There’s always like 1/2 gallon of water on your feet? I leave my plugs in. Am I missing something to there function??

Good try GREGORY
DELTA kicked you in the 🦷 again
