Eliminatorie Storica 2024: Donne su Mascarete a Due Remi

For any regatante, the Regata Storica is unequivocally the biggest race of the year. Prior to the race (always the first Sunday in September), the city holds time trials to see which crews qualify for the 9 slots (plus a reserve) in each of the 4 races.
In this video, on a scorching 34/94 degree day, 16 crews launched from a full stop one at a time on a 2km course. The top three finishers in two batteries automatically qualify, the next fastest 8 come back two days later to compete for the remaining 3 slots and a reserve.
