It really depends what kind of Mumbai you want to see. If you want to see the real Mumbai, you must go to Kalbadevi, Bhuleshwar area, Girgaon area. Do visit the Mumbadevi temple at Jhaveri Bazaar. Then you must explore the Fountain, Fort and Gateway of India to admire the Victorian architecture. there are museums and art galleries here too. Ofcourse there are sea fronts of Marine drive, Chowpaty ect. Food wise there are some really good places. a 100 year old Vegetarian restaurant is right behind Mumbadevi temple called Bhagat Tarachand. There are a lot of videos on this restaurant on youtube. Then explore the Crawford market area and you must try Badshah Falooda. If you like temple hopping, townside there is Mumbadevi, Babulnath, Mahalaxmi temple, Siddhivinayak temple and Haji Ali Dargah. Do not miss Bandra area for shopping and food. must enjoy chat items and Pani puri at Elco market Hill road Bandra. Do visit the Mount Mary church and go to bandstand to enjoy the beach front and if you wish have a look at Salman, Shahrukh khans homes, Rekha's home ect. For shopping Crawford market , Mangaldas market (womens shopping) kalbadevi and Bhuleshwar area is the best.
