Darkest hour has some songs that sound metalcore and are melodic death metal, as well. Plenty of others too like chaos injected, or orpheus omega (bleed the way album), or remnants of the fallen, or the soulless (isolated album)

Wow!!! i love melodic death metal. do you guys (girls) know Disarmonia Mundi??
Yeah they're not great.
but both are from Italy. they have that something special about the vocals, how they sound and how they're formed, completely in harmony with the music both clean and harsh. they fit perfectly in my opinion but to each his own
another nice band from Italy is Neptune, Etorre Rigotti worken on their first album
