I love how he just throws all the screws\parts down on the workbench! After doing this a couple dozen times you know where & how the stuff goes back together. Worst case you have to look up a parts list blow-up schematic diagram or watch the video.😄🤔👍👌⚡🔌⚠️🔧🔋🚧🛠️📏🗜️🤷♂️
People always seem amazed that repair costs are parts and labor always reluctant to pay for that knowledge. I thought the price was more than fair and expected it would have been about $100 US (92 Euro) Great video.
I had a Skil Saw with a Magnesium base plate - rather stupidly I left it on my Welding table, which is mild steel, for two weeks while I was on holiday. When I returned - the base plate was so badly pitted around the edges that it was virtually unusable. I'd never given any thought to Galvanic reactions and was stunned by just how little time it had taken.
Great job. Enjoying these videos. I have a ton of Dewalt tools. I repaired a couple of them, minor problems compared to this. I love to see tools getting repaired instead of dumped.
Another great job! This reminds me of the tools I repair for a company that mines lime. I swear that they just throw the tools in the back of the truck and forget them. I have to blow them out with an air tool like Dean and they are normally bone dry from grease and sometimes rusting on the armatures. Easy money!
I pull apart screwdriver and after putting it together have 5 spare parts. He throws pats on a counter and not 1 extra part at the end. Damn man that's just pure miracle worker.
He makes it look so easy. One day I goes learn and work repairing tools. I love use dewalt tools 20v max on Brazil, same 18v. Great job, and amazing video. Ty!
I always remove the seal on both sides of a new bearing and add more grease, then replace the seals. The bearing will last a bit longer. Love your work. I don't know if you are self taught repairing all different types of machine hand tools. I think you may have worked in a power tool assembly factory at one point.
there is no actual brake, its the brushless motor that stops the blade rapidly. its an electronic brake. The motor actualy repels the rotor magnets in the opposite direction to slow the blade faster.
Are sealed bearing (rubber seal) ok on high-rpm application? I remember checking the specs of a sealed bearing and it was ok only up to 3K rpm (shielded bearing - metal shield - go much higher)
Hey brother can you please help me I have a dcs574 brand new i used it a hand full of times, light comes but at first it would just grind and stop now it won’t go at all some one said it might be the electronic brakes what do you think it is?
Hi am a South African also doing repairs and services on petrol, diesel and power tools machines under my company Marven equipment services Pty ltd I do watch videos on my spare time.Awe.
Just the skill and knowledge to chuck all the screws and stuff in one pile and know where it all goes 😂
I would have to lay them out ny size and watch the video back to remember
Me too

Mate 😂
Even if I could get it running, pretty sure I would end up with some bonus parts.

Great video.
I was thinking around 70 to 100 euro for parts and labour, great price for the work done
The way you clean up the tools is amazing, they're like brand new when you're done with them
The good thing I admire about your work is that you know what goes where , I will be too much disturbed if I forget any missing screws .
Great video as always Dean!
I really enjoyed the longer and more in depth breakdown of what was wrong with the tool👍

That's nuts
У меня Макита тоже из магниевого сплава, теперь буду знать, спасибо!
I like how easily you fix tools. My problem is remembering how to put it back together.

A pleasure to watch. Love the way you flip the dissembled bits to the back of the bench.😉👍
I'm amazed only 45€ for the whole repair. I think that's great will maybe get more people to get the tools repaired instead of just buying a new one.
That's sounds extremely reasonable for that repair, great job!
Cheerzz Dean, always a pleasure watching your videos. Great inspiration!
Thank you! Cheers!
Ypu are better at your job than i am at my job
You’re great at what you do.
Hi! Great video!! Just wonder what type of grease you used here
€45 very good price. Question how do the brakes work on those machines? I have the baby version (18v) I am guessing the break is the same
there is no actual brake, its the brushless motor that stops the blade rapidly. its an electronic brake. The motor actualy repels the rotor magnets in the opposite direction to slow the blade faster.

yes shielded bearing can run faster. but for tools, exposed to dirt, rubber sealed bearing are more suitable over speed.
I dont need a bearing number, I can do this job with eyes shut.
😂😂😂
Lmao how can you remember the ones you didnt take out... funny af
I have that saw. If it goes wrong I will tell them to watch your video.
Thoughts about SKF bearings?
high quality
Where are you buying the parts.
Profissionalismo completo show de bola🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏👏👏👏🍾🍷🍷
This channel is 💯👍
Thanks Dean
If i read that right, you had a giggle with the saw blade bolt threads?
Thanks Dean.
what a great video just came across your channel have just subbed👍👍
Hey Den thanks for your videos. Which brand do you think is the better built one?
When you cut to"clean" the frame ... what are you using? Sonic Parts Cleaner?
Great video Dean👍
What type of grease should I use in the gear box?
awesome vid brother! Keep 'em coming!
How could you fit round bore saw blades to that saw any ideas
Do you have a link to get the bearing for this saw?
You are simply amazing.
I would love to get involved with you on a little business venture?
AvE should send all his tools to Dean to put back together 😂
Nice one Dean
How on earth do you do that, I change the fuse in a plug and have parts left over!
Yo tengo una sierra lo mismos ya se me daño pero no encuentro donde para reparar
My bearings aren't dead, so what to look for then? It still makes the click sound and can almost not start. I'm clueless
sounds like the motor is gone
Dewalts, makita and Bosch seem to have the best designs, I wonder if they are all made by Stanley Black and decker
no only dewalt
@@deandohertygreaser you mean only deWalt is made by Stanley black and decker
Good video Dean.
Love the vids👍
9:23 Whew close one, I thought that came from a jobsite 😂

With your you tube following, and video evidence, you likely don't have a long argument with a manufacturer on warranty.
Where you live
👍
not to be pedantic but it would be 6002 2rs.... ok i'm being pedantic
*which
I need your address , so if i need a repair ill send it to you to fix .👍🏻
