Also, I do agree with you on the fact that Omega can't exactly be the cleaner. He's done it before and it worked in Japan, he needs to move on and create a completely new identity for himself instead of going back to the past.
This was a better way to end Jon moxly's title reign so that kenny omega and Jon moxly will have a rivalry and it helps Kenny omega feel like a very good heel.

Can we just clap it up for Jon Moxley's character development since joining AEW. A lone wolf from another universe (pun) set out to punish and HURT his competition for the pleasure of the violence, winning the title molded him into a different direction. A man who had nothing to lose now had something to FIGHT for. And in each match, he crawled and scracted and picked ALL of his challengers apart. Whether by recklessness in Darby to intensity of Brian Cage or technicality of Jake Hager, he's showed them up and stayed undefeated for a FULL year. Hats off to Mox for being a TREMENDOUS world champion.
He was a perfect world champ. The AEW title is the most important world title right now. Also all 3 of the champions have been double champs. Kenny is the first double world champion though, holding AEW/AAAs world titles.

I was actually at WM17. I will never forget that night swerve that night. A few weeks later when it came out on VHS I just loved hearing JR's reaction that night.

I would hate to see them go down like WcW did HOWEVER they have re-ignited my interest in pro wrestling again and can clearly attract the big names because they have the cheque book to do so. This partnership with Impact is interesting, I can see Impact benefiting massively from it but I don't see what AEW gets from it, they are a far superior promotion in every way, that being said there are some names in Impact that should be in AEW. Gallows and Anderson for a start. Can you imagine if they get AJ in the future OMG!
