All of the little hints and homages always make the packaging just that much more interesting than Hasbro's other lines. I do wish they'd get around to fixing the "QR Code to Nowhere," but at least the photography and dioramas aren't phoned in!
LOL - I've not checked that QR code in ages. They've even got a GI Joe Classified little microsite that's not great but would still be a better link for it! I love the Easter Eggs though. It's nice to clock something and have that "hang on - I know that" and go digging around re-reading stuff and watching stuff. It's been fun!
Cool video...I wasn't ever able to read the GI joe comics but I will soon once Kickstarter starts shipping the compendium that I went on ....I'm sure some of those references you spoke about here will make Sense when I start reading and viewing the images in the books...great video today Chris 👍
Aw man - you're in for a great time. I'm almost jealous, I'd love to discover the comics fresh again. It's a bit of a fine line sometimes with the vids. I try to acknowledge and represent the easter egg suitably without being too spoiler-y. If you think the vids could benefit from a bit more background about the scene/story-arc they are referencing then let me know man and I can keep it in mind for the next go around? :)
Good episode man. I wasn't aware of all the references....it's kinda cool that Hasbro / the Classified Series Team do them.
Yeah - I love it. It further re-enforces the view I have that Lenny & his team are legitimate fans like us. I have fun with the Easter Eggs. :)
Thanks, this was fun. It’s great that you take the time to source and share the visuals about what is being referenced, makes for a great video!
Thanks Nelson. Really happy you found it fun. Appreciate you taking the time to drop into the comments and letting me know - you rock! :)

Took me a while to come back and finish this one, but I loved it. So fun to see all these references in the packaging.
Cheers Curtis :)
