I both like how they make them healthy for gameplay - e.g. tier 9 premiums are a bit underpowered compared to tech tree counterparts but make more credits, have a "unique"-ish mechanic and you can use them for crew training. My main concern is that the idea behind tier 8 premiums was the same and then they got power crept to hell.

kajzoo, I'm almost exclusively an LT player. I am o.k. (blue, purple with a few tanks with 5k battles) and am able to have good games when the matches are close and can even carry endgames a decent amount of the time. The problem is that almost every game on NA (idk if it's the same there) my heavy line just gets destroyed (-5k hp) and there is no hp in the field. A lot of games I will even spot a decent number of tanks and my teammates will either not shoot at them or just miss. Sometimes I can just hide and shoot and get by with ~2k damage on my own, but I really don't enjoy playing the game that way and baiting for stats just sucks. I understand this happening sometimes is part of multiplayer games, but it seriously feels like every single game. I just don't know what to do when the entire game happens on the other side of the map and I cannot push my side due to map design or lack of support. I am seriously considering moving away from WOT for good.
Tank actually feels well balanced. The HP is rubbish for it's size and the armour is a total lie but it's useable. The gun makes this tank in my opinion. Decent DPM similar to the STRV K and Chieftain P but it can roll for over 500 every 10 seconds which is really nice. Overall it feels like a replacement for the M103 if that were ever an option. Need more balanced tanks like this in events and premium shop. Not more gimmick, game breakers like BZ176

The thing is Kajzoo thinks every tank is epic because he is who he is and can play the way he plays. Agree with another poster that this is the kind of tank the game needs - can be good, but is flawed enough to not be stupid and toxic for the game. The better question is whether this tank is worth paying 10.5k gold for when you can just grind up to T-10, TNH, and AMX M4 51? If you have the money and want to give it to WG, why not? This doesn’t really seem to be a tank you “need” in the garage though.
Kajzoo, you could carry a Tier IX battle in a Leichttraktor. LOL Of course the T54 is amazing, because it does not matter the tank. :) For 6k battle guys like me, the tank MUST be amazing to last more than 30 seconds.
This thing is pretty good! I haven't played the Renegade, but have played both tier 10 Heavy American tanks, I didn't really like either of them so I stopped playing them. Ended up getting this thing during the Halloween event if I remember, Since my American heavy crews were just twiddling their thumbs in the barracks, I figured I'd give this thing a try. And wow I had plenty of fun in this! I actually feel the T54 is EASIER to play than the other American tanks. The insane gun depression and its decent rate of fire make it surprisingly easy to get your gun down on target in hilly terrain. Feels like a more fun version of the AE Phase 1 sometimes, since unlike that POS, it feels like its armour actually works. plus its premium status means LOTS O MONEY! With every game. Good tank if you know what you're doing. Not too noob friendly, but if I had to recommend a high tier American tank for a noob to use, I'd pick this, that decent armour along with the easy to use gun makes it feel more forgiving of mistakes to me.

I honestly believe this is a quite balanced tier 9 Renegade. The penetration isn't huge, the alpha is ok but the gun handling is trollish, the mobility isn't the worst but not great either. I would have loved to see this tank available by completing steps in the battlepass.
@@agoatwithnonamd Being worse than rewards or tech tree tanks should ALWAYS be the norm. Making it a battlepass reward, available even for f2p players would have been great. The tank isn't going to break the tier 9 by any means. It's leagues behind the Concept, the Kampanzer or the Phase 1.

I like the turbo replay format, showing some of the juicier bits of games to illustrate the points that you're trying to make. On paper the tank looks pretty meh, IMHO, but watching you play it, it seems like in the hands of a great player the tank does pretty well. So when are you three marking it? "T54 Heavy Tank is INSANE" Insane only if you spend gold on it. The ONE redeeming factor it has is 12 degrees gun depression; everything else is lackluster, not special, worse than the tech tree variants in every metric for a tier IX, AND still has all the typical weaknesses of the American Heavy Line. This is a collectors tank, not a competitive one.
Hey kajzoo i have a question I am a player with 2800 recent wn8 and I am looking to get even better at the game do you think gunmark grinding can help me step up my gameplay because I noticed that I seem to think more about the gameplay if I try to mark a tank as an example I 3 marked my obj 780 and I was performing way better then I normally would so I don’t know
If the tank would keep the m54 renegade stats regarding gun handling, dpm and mobility it would be a fun and competitive tank. Now it's more like an tier 8,5. Conqueror, AE phase 1 and AMX M4 51 are all superior (even the mediocre M103 is better)
I feel like this is a weaker renegade but it’s not the worse tank in the game. It’s just not that beginner friendly and probably shouldn’t be inside the auction.

this is the tank type of gameplay that you either get used to or suffer. this tank has really high skill requirements, like the renegade or e5. it's just an american heavy, nothing really much to say except for the 450 alpha and lacking speed.
The dispersion values overall are complete ass though, even with equipment. You'd need bond or bounty equipment and field mods to make the tank bearable to use.
if you are a true renegade players / veteran yeah maybe you can make this tank work , but for new players its gonna be a tricky tank to play unless you play like kaijoo here ggwp xd 😂
It's balanced, but def not insane in the avg persons hands imo. Kajoo is a beast with any tank and knowing how to use armor as effectively as he does makes thr tank that much better in his hands!

I don't have a problem with that (in fact, I think it's good that premium tanks are not all that good), but I think it's a bit of a problem if players with amazing skills such as Kajzoo paint such overly rosy pictures of such tanks. Seems like an AE phase 1 but worse in every aspect except for 50 more alpha dmg, 2 more degrees of depression and extra credits.

the m103 in the first game being stock helped you a bit as he only had 252 pen with gold instead of the 340 with the 120s

That's basically the Renegade. Its a very high skill cap tank that average players will struggle with.
Gun handling is what makes the renegade so great though.
Noted lack of games (only 1) in this video where the T54 is up against tier 10.
At this point, whatever the tank kajzoo plays, it seems like op, where actually kajzoo needs to be nerfed cuz he is too op
