Why would he ask her would she fly a man out? That was so cringy. She’s a mother of FOUR… FOUR children. Smh that’s very selfish. I don’t care how much money she makes, her answer should be “no”. You all love setting black women up to be taken advantage of. He made it seem as if she’s only be a good woman to take money off of her plate that could go to her children, to pay for a capable and able man’s plane ticket. Even if he’s a teacher making $75,000 a year, if he can’t pay for the plane ticket he can afford to provide for the household. I noticed he said “a brother” and that is the problem right there. Black men always and automatically assume black women solely look to them for companionship. I really hope she is open to dating other men as well. They would be offended if their woman who has children bought them a plane ticket. I really can’t believe he asked her that.

He always asks that to ALL the women. “Would you date a regular guy or would you date a guy in debt?” Most of them say no so I think it’s just to motivate the brothers to do better to bring their A-game bc most of the women he asks say no. Since he asks all the women I don’t think this was a singled out malicious attack on her.

A lot of our brothers, men in general, aren't looking for marriage but are looking for intimate relationships and to be honest the culture and dating scene is a set-up, so women lose up front unless they give up the goods first before any kind of committed relationship is even on the table. Now, I am not saying women aren't willing to give up the goods and dive headfirst in the current culture of dating. I am not saying that at all, but women are held to a higher standard when marriage is on the table.
Nowadays, successful women are being asked to date down when it is in a woman's nature to date up (hypergamy). BW's dating pool is limited because they are the least likely to date out and BM know this and already have an advantage without even trying. So, they know that women will settle to have a man. Some BM, especially those who are wealthy and some who are not, date out. It is considered smart that he should do this to make the best choice.
I pray this young woman and mother will secure her children's wealth before she brings/marries a man into her life and hopefully she'll protect her wealth with a prenuptial agreement and other financial systems and tools to ensure it is protected. It is the smart thing to do even if she/he is in love.
Look at Mary J. Blige, the lady from Who's line is it anyway (Aisha Tyler), Halle Berry and Wendy Williams, they all are paying their cheating husband's/ Baby daddy's alimony/money because they didn't make sure their wealth and legacy was protected. Both men and women have to protect their legacy because over time, things can change, and all this talk now doesn't always pan out and I believe most men today can testify to this when they are on tap for child support and alimony that sends them to the poor house.
The laws nowadays hold wealthy women to the same standard as they do wealthy men. Women have to be smart and sensible because there are plenty of gold-digging men who are willing to marry and then divorce knowing they will be paid and sustained afterwards.
Hypergamy (marrying up), is now considered by both men and women so watch out.

Spending money on a man when you’re not even in a committed relationship is not a good idea. Setting financial boundries in the dating phase is so important in order to not get manipulated. Most women are not self aware and choose men based on they’re brokeness, their past traumas etc… so vetting is MASSIVE and KEY prior to marrying anyone ! Listen If he is a graduate student and not earning anything, he should still pay his way!! Women have to learn to stop being told to do things for men who barely show interest. Beautiful interview. I love that she said that she wants to be led. Every woman does not know the value of being led. She must know how to follow. It is the mindset of a divine woman, a woman who knows the true essence of life and knows God. This is another area she could tap into. We need to see modern women who know the value of marriage and the power of being a wife. Thank you. I am encouraged to monitize my path of least resistance. Notes taken.

Hello I really enjoyed this conversation this is my first time coming across your channel, and I apologize in advance for my long comment. I want to speak on when you asked would you fly him out? If it were me I would have to fly myself out to see him always, and I will tell you why. Firstly I would not pay for anyone who I am not completely involved with meaning even if I am dating him that's just what it is dating no matter what the emotional attachment is especially if it's only been a short period of time, because we as women have the tendency to through the (L) word out there really early, and this is where we find ourselves in trouble most often when we don't know the man as we should, so this is why I pay my own way until if, or when the ring comes. We women get emotionally attach to fast if we're not careful, and this is one of the reasons why we should be flying out to see they guy instead of bringing him to us so we can't say when the smoke clears from a failed relationship that we paid out money foolishly. If dating turns into an engagement I would consider paying at that time if he's not intimidated which he shouldn't be especially if he ask for my hand in marriage, because there would be an understanding that there is a financial issue on his end, and the two are now working together in unity to become one. Men can't have it both ways, men can't say they feel intimidated by a woman who makes more, and when she simply wants to pay the way for someone who need a hand for whatever reason he must understand it's not her trying to be intimidating, but rather expressing her desire to see her man we are loving, sensitive creatures by nature as God made us to be, and this why we can take care of the family, and husband with one hand tied behind our back, because this is how God created us, and you better not mess with my kids, and husband we'll scratch your eyeballs out!! 😅😅. Sometimes we women don't make wise decisions when it comes to men no matter how much money we make sadly, because we simply just want to be held, and loved, and if we are well off we still want that same affection, and money has nothing to do with it, so men oftentimes get it wrong with women who's well off when they want to do things out of a loving heart, and men must swallow their pride, and know the heart of the woman they're involved with. When you're just dating, and even though the man's income may not come near what the woman makes we must realize most men will fall in the low income bracket when they're dating a woman who's well off😅. If the man really wants to win the heart of that women who makes more than him then it would be good for him to obtain the money that's needed to travel on his own so that he can also show, he can provide a way for himself, and her as well as long as it's legal 😉😉therefore showing he's showing he's the real deal no matter what amount of money he has, but here's the key he must have those efforts already built into his character, he can't be someone selling his car to buy a plane ticket, but rather have the mindset of a leader who can get the job done! we love a leader, and someone who know what they're doing. I don't believe women want someone to boss them around, so speaking as a woman we really do want our men to lead us in strength, but not in a forceful way, but rather being a leader who watches over his love, and all things pertaining to his love who's not being radical, and acting unseeming, and ruling over us with a iron fist, but instead allowing us to know he will love, protect, and care for us we love strength both in the physical, and emotional part of a man. Women are help meets according to the word of God, and men are the workers who provides for his family plain and simply. Women expect something, and men expect something, and together it should all should line up in unity, and love for one another.

Ellie is great, love her business sense. And yes AO, men can be very intimated by successful women. Men historically have been told that they are the providers for the family. But when the woman makes the money, his sense of who he is threatened. He feels like "what does she need me for." I can say this with certainty because it has been the story of my life. I to am very successful, home paid for, luxury car paid for, money in the bank and little to no bills and always have been told that I am beautiful, which I agree, but dating has been a nightmare.

This was a wonderful interview. I was a little disappointed with the KS line of questioning at the end, asking her about whether she would date a Walmart employee, a short man, or fly men out who have not even made a commitment to her...Men want to be leaders but are comparing themselves to women and want to be "flewed" out? Idk why society continues to shame BW for finally getting some standards. Everyone was happy when we were in struggle love, in poverty and dating down still dealing with cheating, betrayal, disrespect, carrying most of the load; cooking, cleaning, bare foot and pregnant being "ride or dies" for the Walmart working BM with potential. Smh, No other race of women are drilled about these things except BW. We are the only women expected to build a man up after we have put in the hard work to become successful. This woman did ALL of this while being newly divorced, relocating with 4 children (2 of which were infants) living at her mother's house. So what's a man's excuse, juggling way less? It's interesting, I wonder why the world feels like we don't deserve a protector and a provider. Men become successful and go get what they want! Women become successful and it's "how dare she want a man who has put in the same work as she has to make something out of himself!" No one says he has to make 7 figures but 30 thousand Walmart employee? Stop it...God bless her family and business.

I love this video, but I am in total agreement with your comment. I feel there should be other questions asked that she didn't have to defend herself or her answers so strongly. Those specific questions I felt was where she'd already been through and explained in the beginning. Nevertheless these personal questions are discussed if a person wants to reveal and take along that ride. But if you go from a divorce, 4kids at home with mom, and become successful no one should make you feel like you have to say what sounds right or logical to soothe anyone's mind or opinion. It's levels to life! No foul no harm but sometimes you can't jeopardize your growth.

@@martydemendez6736 Bingo! Those are my sentiments as well. She had already been through that with her husband doing everything being the provider, housekeeper, chief, mother etc....and we see how that ended. Truth be told a lot of BM are jealous, insecure and harbor resentment when their partner makes significantly more than them. Besides that, we can look at all the examples of successful women who chose to build a man up after they became successful. That very same man starts feeling like he has "options" to explore, that's when infidelity starts to creep in or will just flat out abandon his wife for the type of women he didn't have access to when he was making significantly less. This happens way too frequently.
