The melodies, drums, and just overall drum programming by Teddy Riley on this song was on point. Riley was unreal with his beat production from 1987 to 1991.
One of my Aunts favorite. Since she was the last one to leave for work in the morning, her schedule being late morning-she would be the one dropping the kids off to school, had us laughing so hard trying to sing this dancing, and some of her other favorites from Keith, good memories, still a jam, classic. Keith Sweat’s “Make It Last Forever” album was an instant classic from the first song to the last song, just like Anita Baker’s “Rapture” album. Both albums only had 8 songs, but every song was a hit song and you can’t say that about R&B albums now of days.

Now, as for 1980s and 1990s R&B, I've spent my fair share of money on R&B albums from those decades on Amazon and eBay and I'm proud of that.

@yomoseo, That was Keith's intent when he wrote and performed this song in 1987. Back in the day (80s and 90s in particular) brothers wrote songs as to educate us on what time it was with these females.
