Triton hands down is better off road due to its ground clearance, diesel engine, and theres no substitute for a low range box. But if you spend most of your daily drive on the road and a small portion on roads like we showed here, then the X70 makes more sense. Its miles more refined than a triton
True there is a compromise at some point. But we felt its not too bad, especially with the newer 1.5 TGDI model. That really bridges the consumption gap.

Indeed. As the takde spare situation, every car brands are facing this in one way or another, thanks to the hampering in operations caused by the pandemic.
The simple answer is yes. Its got sufficient safety features, an ASEAN NCAP rating of 5 stars, which means it can shield its occupants relatively well in a bad accident. Having said that Toyota / Lexus's late chief test driver, a pro, DIED in a prototype Lexus on public roads around the Nurburgring. Which means its no 100% guarantee against fate, we can only minimize the risk. Always practice defensive driving and stay safe on the road.

This car has its merits, even against the 3008. But you're not wrong about liking the new 3008 too, which is why we took a 4 hour trip into the heartlands of Pahang to test it. It certainly has its upper hand over the X70 on certain aspects.
We take extreme caution when driving on road, you can see Karamjit never crosses lanes at all. The more powerful cars we review with Karamjit we take to the track, which you can see in our playlists. Hope this clarifies your request.

I told my friends, after 2 months with my x70, it’s a car twice its price.
Indeed, it has one or two flaws but for the amount you spend you do get a lot of car.

Can the boot fit a adult size bicycle?
With the seats up unlikely. With the back seats down could do. We however suggest a roof rack or trunk cycle mounts

Not really, compared to my previous Sedan Car 2liter NA, 11L/100km, My X70 is around 9L/100Km

I do have a isuzu dmax a ute comes with 3.0 turbo diesel variant and it gives 11km for per 100km
Mine subaru forester 2.0 NA 8.7 l/100kms mixed town and highway. If it's highway, can give 8l/100kms as well. All depends on your own foot.
