My only gripes is that I wish it had a panoramic sunroof and memory for the tilt/telescoping steering wheel. But those aren't a deal breaker for me though. It's a badass pickup truck!!
My 2023 Denali 1500 (also 6.2L) with 20" wheels has a noticeable improved suspension compared with my previous 2020 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 (18" wheels). I'm driving in New England (pot hole country) so the suspension is something that stands out quickly. Especially on back roads. My Denali does remember the steering wheel position (no lock is NBD) when you set the memory seat function (side mirror positions are also remembered). I set the position for both keys plus a different exit position for both (steering wheel fully retracted, and seat into a position that makes getting in/out easier on my older bones). As for the start button being different. I like it. I like how the higher GMC Sierra trim levels break away from the lower ones as well as from what the Silverado truck have. This is my first GMC Sierra 1500 truck and I cannot see myself ever going to a lower trim level now. At this point I'm not planning to make any changes at least until the next generation goes through it's mid cycle refresh. Chances are, I won't change trucks then.
Lot better than the ones I have had in late model Lincolns like the Continental we had till mom smashed it lol. That car the massage actually hurt lol.
I thought the supercruise was supposed to be standard. I just bought one a week or so ago and they said it was a $3500 option I believe. I don't really care mine doesn't have it I just really wanted adaptive cruise since I have had it in a few other cars and my truck its replacing def didn't have it lol. The dealer had one of those new Hummers too first time I ever seen one in person. They sold it $115k which seems to be about the best price I ever seen one for too other then that think they were all $120-125k I have seen and a lot for $200k or more but the buyer can't pick it up. The battery was leaking so they are waiting on GM to ship a new one out and I swear they said it was $60k for the battery
Nice vid…I’m going through the process of buying Denali Ultimate. It’s hard to get in Vegas at this time. I have 3.0 Diesel reserved. Never had diesel vehicle. I’m also thinking full size 6.2 eco. Suggestions? I like the MPG with diesel up to 30. 6.2 with 15-20. Also saw your truck did not come with self drive. Thought it was standard with Ultimate. I test drove this, and is an awesome feature. As far as price. Was quoted 82k+. Is this a good price fully Ulitmate loaded. Thx
The diesel will certainly get better mpg. But consider the cost of diesel in relation to gas. This is something that usually washes out when you consider the added diesel costs and maintenance rates over the life time. We do like the 3.0 Duramax, check out our Silverado review of it earlier this year. But we do think that the 6.2 V8 personality would be our personal preference.
@@TexasTruckChannel thx for quick response. It’s good to have full size engine. Do you find yourself getting the 15-20 mpg at least. Especially with the eco option. Not sure if all the 6.2 has this option. Believe it drops cylinders as needed.
Thanks to the chip shortage, our test unit did not have cylinder deactivation, we noticed 20 mpg hwy, and 15 city taking it easy. If enjoying the power, expect around 13.
I ordered mine exactly one year ago. Jan. 2022. But the chip shortage and supply chain issues caused it to be delayed almost a year. They just built it 9 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for them to ship it and no ETA. Was supposed to be a 2022 but is now a 2023 and I ordered it exactly like this unit in pacific blue with the 6.2 liter engine and the alpine umber interior. Crossing fingers hoping to get it soon. Been a looooong wait. I chose 6.2 engine because its tried and true and old reliable. Some are still having issues with the 3.0 liter diesel and some are not. I didn’t want that gamble. Good luck on getting one anytime soon. The chip shortage does seem to be getting better though.
Me again, lol. just a heads up on the super cruise. Yes, it is standard on the ultimate, however they are having trouble keeping parts available for the ultimate’s so they stopped putting it in until sometime in 2023. I was contacted over this last summer and they told me there will be no super cruise and they will give me a $1300.00 credit. I asked them if it’s something that they can install later and they said no due to safety concerns. So if you want super cruise then wait till a little later this year and it will be in the ultimate’s again.
@@gk9417 Yeah but what is $110k Canadian in USD. Imagine it has to be about the same if you were talking USD. Maybe a little extra in Canada but I am sure its within $10k
guys these kind of content creating is so boring. Showing off all the pieces of the vehicle that we already see in our eyes. You guys made a comment for the front grill for 2 min. It is just boring.

Good review Brian! 😊 that is a nice truck buddy!!
Yep definitely my dream truck Denali Ultimate in Pacific blue with the 6.2
hows the massaging seats?
Freaking wonderful!

Pretty good. Not a massage chair but good for a car massage.
Nice review.
Thanks 🤘
Is that ‘chase’ vehicle a GX? If so, those things are badass! I have a 2022 Denali but seriously considered a used GX460
It sure is! That review is coming out very soon 🤘
Wats that color is that platinum rush
Ok here’s the question - does the Denali ride better then the elevation?
My question with the fancy tailgate. Can you lower with the step feature if you have a trailer hitch?
Yes you can, but you will hit the hitch with the step. There is a function to lock the step when you have the hitch installed.
You will smash the tailgate.
B & W makes a hitch that works with the step down. It is slanted to give the room needed so you don't encounter the dreaded "DING"
Love my 22 ultimate that fortunately has everything that was supposed to come in the trucks like super cruise.
