Can you do Ray Dalios all weather portfolio? I'm using that strategy right now for a section of my investments and would be interested to see how it stacks up.

That one will definitely be done! I haven't had a chance to start work on the script for it yet and I do have a few others already done so it won't be immediately, but it is one that's already on the list to do for sure :)

But are you able to capture the returns from the dataset in real life….

Without comparing using rolling returns the video is incomplete as point to point return is meaningless

Nice thoughts, if I don't do a simple s&p 500 index, then would research individual stocks that I research and trust instead of just random mixes of mutual funds.

Please cover the concept of "true up" in regard to 401k. I consider myself an informed investor and I didn't know about this until just recently. You have a great audience, I'm sure it would be worth while to cover the concept and make people aware.

Since im investing in ETFs, what if I put double my emergency fund (to account for a 50% drop) in a 50/50 stock/bond taxable account?

Where are you getting those data? And how do you perform such analysis? Is it possible to get those data or some excel templete to try it myself?

The data is gathered from a variety of sources from index fund returns (where available) to estimates from economists and others for the earlier years where we don't have actual index fund data (the first index funds were created in the 1970s).
As far as an excel template to try it yourself, yes there is one. It's on my Patreon page. It's called the Asset Allocation Master Sheet and is available to patrons in the Investor tier and above.
