Just FYI for the next run, staff slam abilities do exist by default, you just didn't finish imbuing it. The staff will release a little blast at the top when it's ready for its slam ability.

If you haven't figured it out yet, you can fuse two of the same Crystal shard together to create a better Crystal that unlocks more skill branches. 🙏 Just hold two Gravity Crystal shards next to each other then press and hold the Triggers. Every Shard can be upgraded two times I think? So three branches per tree. Three skills per branch. x) Sorry. Unnecessary over explanation, but it confused me at first as well so I figured I'd share what I know.

I've beaten the game and with tier three lightning nothing is difficult. staff and thunder bolt let's you one shot at very far ranges and lightning spray blocks arrows. @bowldawg4394
@@bowldawg4394 It kind of depends on your vr experience and skill, for me I am fine with those guys. I haven’t played perma death but I’ve only died to the later stages of the golem where he gets tons of abilities
Just so you know, if you hang on a ledge you can just press the jump button to launch yourself up, you don't actually have to pull yourself up and it's a lot easier.
@@EthanSt well maybe I was doing something wrong but the pull up always launched me barley enough to be at the top and the jump always made me go like higher than the enemies were at the top
early game if you can hit your firebolts, it sets the enemy on fire and its pretty much an insta kill, plus theres an upgrade that can spread it to anyone else close which is huge.
I use primarily gravity out of the main three spells (nomad player) a perma death run would be so easy because you can just split them in half with mind powers
You should look at downloadable content’s playthrough in the meantime if you need your fix! Piepop has also made a few videos, but only some are part of a playthrough.
@@DAWIDOSOSI know what you mean but I don’t think you understood what I said, if you get the three levels of a body crystal, there is a flying kick upgrade and a kick strength boost upgrade, which both get stronger if you run at an enemy and kick.
yo toast i would say that i like body stone most (ik nobody asked) but its because one ability of it is being able to tear off limbs with your bare hands, this is super good when you reach the super armored guys )note: COMBINE BODY CRYSTALS FOR THIS ABILITY)
Toast - just a heads up that there's a game option to show your health and mana on your wrist in a little glowing tattoo. It doesn't show numbers, just a percentage of the tattoo, but it's way more convenient than constantly opening your inventory.
that's sad since without mana you have no limits if u wanted to you could just go through a whole dungeon in 5 mins because of it which in my opinion isn't as fun as if you had mana aka a limit to how much you could use the skills so you'd have to fight with a sword more
I'm upset because the secret/true ending is so much better than the default ending - and it also requires you to dump at least half your campaign into getting each element. I started as a body character and upgraded my mind and body both to 2, then got one grav crystal so I could use the featherfall for the next few fights. I WAS gonna max out my body and mind and then beat the game, but I have to put a crystal into fire and lightning instead. Meaning if I do wanna max out my skills, I need to do extra runs before I beat the game.
it's all preference! Most of the magic crystals are mad OP, body and mind will put you through more work tho. So just depends on what kind of challenge you want!

in my first playtrough i chose the red crystal. Pretty weak at first but i upgraded it fully then i was truly a beast

If you get a tier 2 strength crystal the starting ability for it lets you get another life
Btw if you choose body crystal and get all three, you can get a combination of abilities that allow you to drop kick people 20 feet away
You don't need all three and not only the body crystal has fused abilities
