its prob the mission ended- they did the mission successfully, which I can see from Desmond family being at the wedding where they all can reveal the identity as spy

one really big flaw i saw in this series (aside from the weird turns) is the fact that both Loid and Yor quit their jobs to be “a better parent”, I understand it’s an AU but an AU is supposed to add the personality of a character (very slight changes can be made for the story) and put them in situations, like fan-made episodes, you kinda removed his most obvious trait; determination. He was a “war orphan” and wants no child to cry the way he did, so he’s a spy sorely to stop war at all costs, that’s why he’s doing this facade is the first place. As for Yor, she just likes eliminating bad people but her personality is very against quitting at any point. They can be a family because no one in the whole series said anything about not being able to marry, there is no such policy. of course this was really fun to watch but this is just a minor thing i found weird :)

It was really good and interesting, finally a happy ending, you know i love reading classical books ( witch mean i read most tragedy ending) but for spy family i always want it get happy ( even if base story is dark and it about war and spy and orphan kids )
