The Ultimates are amazing and the software alone takes them over the top. I did have to build a custom pedal plate since I was cheap and didn't buy the one they came with. Cant go wrong with either Simmson or SimJack. Great alternative to HE's.
I got the chrome version of these about a month or so ago and after watching this I realized I never got the hydraulic rods. I just reached out to the seller to see if they will sell them to me with the bearings and all. gotta say I like the pedals a lot, but the software is the worst! thanks for the vid!
I have mine for about 2 weeks now and I just cant get the adjustments to feel comfortable just yet on the brake pedal. I was wondering if you could help explain a little about the brake hardware. I see your brake is actually in reverse to mine where the spring is closer to the pedal and the elastomers are closer to the back. How did you do that with the existing hardware? Also i want the brake to be as soft as i can make it so my knee doesn't hurt after using it. I have been looking online but cant seem to grasp the setup for the elastomers and software to make it a lower KG for the load cell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It can take a little while to get the right settings for a brake pedal 🙂. I moved the spring to the front to give the pedal a bit of softness before the hard stop like a real car. I beleive I had to remove a washer from the front of the rod to have it all fit correctly. As its a tight fit. In the software, you don't have to press it all the way down to calibrate it at max load, maybe press softer. Also if your knee is hurting, you may have to fix your seating ergonomics, you should be pressing from your quad muscles, not your knee 👍

Please use auto focus next time. Your camera is focused on the back of your head..
Good call, I'm using a manual focus lens. Appreciated.
