    Sir, if we place a core inside the toroid, what will be its effect on strength of magnetic field?? I mean i want to know in that case do we have to take permeability of core material in the formula of magnetic field

    sir mujhe pata h meri iss confusion ka solution aap hi doge....
    sir there is a little confusion in outside magnetic field of toroid case....as we know current is a scalar Q then why we take sign convention for current like otward + or - and say net current threading loop is Zero .....Thank u sir pls reply....LOVE u sir. Happy teachers Day.....

      Hello sudeshna chakraborty Look at the direction of current - Clockwise or anticlockwise.
      Clockwise current - magnetic field lines going inside.
      Anticlockwise current - magnetic field lines are going out

      Hello Rahul! At first I would like to thank you for posting such a valuable comment. It is a very common topic where students get confused with.
      There is a difference between any field intensity and field lines. Field lines are continuous lines (curved or straight) but field intensity, here magnetic field intensity (in short 'magnetic field'), is a property of a point and being a vector quantity it is represented by an arrow.

      For writing I use SmoothDraw 4.0.5. It is like MSPaint, but better than that.
      For recording the screen I use CamStudio 2.7.
      Both of them are free of any cost.
