I'll be honest, I have never played or watched much of the Horizon series. This is my first foray into the life of Aloy, exploring the Forbidden West equipped with a mix of primitive (but useful) and advanced weapons, fighting dangerous machine/mechanized animals that have taken over the Old World. It was highly rated on Steam, so with the now ended Steam Summer Sale, I decided to take the plunge. And so far, I haven't regretted it. With its captivating story, almost perfect graphics, tricky parkour/puzzles that have had me stumped, and many more reasons, this game has gotten me invested in it so far!
In this episode, we leave our friends behind in Meridian and set forth to attend the embassy, stopping at Chainscrape town for awhile to forge new friendships and upgrade our gear! We also get to take on new robotic animals with new/upgraded weapons. This episode is abit lore-heavy with alot of cutscenes and dialogs to fill us in on the deeper story in Horizon.
