      Pigmentation issues can be so hard to treat, it really takes a good product, dilligence, and stringent sunscreen usage, but it can be done! My skin has come so far when I started my skincare journey years ago. I wish I had photos of how much melasma and hyperpigmentation I had, it was so bad.

    I used their older one of this that had the two sides to it w one pump. I went through the entire bottle and didn’t notice any difference. I haven’t had the greatest results from most Clinique skincare or makeup. Your dogs are so cute!! What kind is the one that I saw closer to the beginning of the video?

      😃😃 That was Ike, he's a German Wirehaired Pointer. Smartest dog I've ever met, scary smart actually. He's always up to something. After I got back from my last trip he told me what he thought of it. Grabbed my shoe immediately and dumped it in the toilet. Not kidding. 🤣🤣🤣

      Clinique seems to be all over the place, especially with some of their more recent releases. The Jelly BB Cream was $15 and then this was... pricey. Perhaps they are trying to market to younger people but not lose more experienced skin care enthusiasts at the same time.

    The Clinique website says use morning and night but it seems to be a good protector which I’m thinking of building into my skin care route in the morning only since I use a retinol at night. I just received a sample of it so that’s a safe way of trying something new.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Freckles can be very hard to fade, especially with an over-the-counter product. Might be worth a visit to a dermatologist because I believe there are laser devices that can help with that, but definitely worth seeing a professional, especially if the freckles are on your face.

    How do I get my skincare from pilling i have patted it on i have rubbed it in i have waited a few minutes before applying the next product im lost

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I typically notice pilling when layering products that contain a lot of hyaluronic acid, or lots of silicones. Almost any time I layer a hyaluronic acid serum under something else it almost always pills. What products are you using? I think the biggest thing is to apply products in order of lightness, apply more liquid products first and thicker moisturizers at the end of your routine.

    Barley! Grrrrrrr....that makes it unusable for those of us who have gluten intolerance. Some people think that if you have a cosmetic ingredient, it's ok because it does not go through the digestive tract. There is dermatitis herpetiformis, which my brother is susceptible, along with our nephew (our sister's son). It is real, and WHY in this day and age they can't "just" use rice bran oil or some derivative, it makes it easier for us "gluten free" folks to find more products to use.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know why Clinique includes Barley in almost EVERY product, so frustrating because it makes it so that many people can't use the product, and I'm not even convinced Barley is all that beneficial for skin anyway. I think Rice Bran would have been much better in this product for so many reasons.

    They’re cruelty free unless required to test by law. Or so I thought..??

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are sold in mainland China where testing it required. There are ways to sell in China without being animal tested but they didn't choose to go that way unfortunately.

      I too used this but never got any difference in me

  • @e.a.4926
    @e.a.4926 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's a huge pass from me because of animal testing as well as price ... $52 for an ounce and the first 6 ingredients are all silicones/solvents/slip agents (water, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, polysilicone-11, isododecane, butylene glycol,) meaning they probably make up 80-90% of the formula.
    Again, sticking with Kbeauty & Jbeauty 🙃
    Thanks for the review!! 💜

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is always so disappointing when the main ingredients are all fillers. And seriously, it's about time for Estee Lauder/ Clinique to go cruelty free. 😡

      Sounds like you are using it correctly. Dark spots can be really tough to treat, and what works for one person might not work for the next one. I will say for me, Azleic Acid has worked miracles. I'm currently using the Azleic Acid from Geek and Gorgeous and it's helped with pigmentation and dark spots so much, I'd highly recommend checking into an azleic acid, it really has helped a ton.

      It can make skin dead n hair loss.
      Best to use as a spot application.
