- This is based on my latest road trip from Delhi to Himachal in September 2021. I visited Sirmaur which is the closest Himachali district to Delhi. I explored a hidden gem called Gattadhar valley which is 350 km away from Delhi (Delhi - Shimla is also 350). Eco-tourism is an art which we all need to learn, as it's a way of exploring and appreciating the nature and all natural things at the same time. "Old is Gold", may it be fashion or the ancient techniques of cooking. The "hamal dista" or the hand grinder is a part of morden kitchen now a days, it not only adds on home asthetics but also is very useful and eco-friendly alternative. Just amazing, starting me aap jaate hue dekhe I can not able to recognize you I have seen twice to confirm, and as a guest they have given you much amount of water as they don't have water resources. Atma raam ji is really helpful ,Pandit Ji and Deepak also. You said absolutely correct about tourism,I just want to add one more thing to it sir, those people who love nature and want to explore new places and can adjust them self easily with limited resources can visit, rest who disturb the nature by throwing garbage and plastic to these places stay away aap logo ka Idher kuch kaam nhi hai. Sir if you stay 30 days in village your body will be toxic free and full body will function at its best.
