Love watching the Fab Rats crew work the magic on everything. However when I see the food from Archies, I want to drive back to get a Fab Rats burger, I visited back in September from Colorado and the Fab Rats burger from Archie’s was the BEST burger I have ever had, can’t wait to visit again for a burger. Also visiting the shop was great, visiting with Paul’s mom was nice. Just a wonderful group of folks at Fab Rats.
Bull Elk, I love the sound in the wild. I waited every elk season to hear that sound. When its up close it will get your attention in a hurry, I bow hunted Elk for 25 years in Wyoming and loved it.

With that work on the car and rear gear set, a SLEEPER IS BORN. The screw-in threaded valve train gave the car some 500 extra RPM at least, on the top, and some HP with the 1.6 rockers,

Love me a Chevy II/Nova! I had a '71 Nova SS. 350, 4 bbl, dual exhaust, 4 speed close ratio Muncie transmission (M21?) 10 bolt posi trac rear, Hurst shifter. Quick, nice handling rig. It wouldn't spin the tires. It just squated down in back and took off! I really, really, miss that car!

Someone was over revving that SBC. Time to remove the chairs and put those louts to work. There are always floors to sweep, tools to clean and put away etc. Good time to replace oil sending unit. Copper tubing should not be used for Brake or Fuel lines. It cracks after extensive vibration. Hunter is the luckiest guy I know. Left rear wheel is bent. 3:73's would also work well.

Once they looked okay, they got shoved into a honeycombed piece of cardboard that was marked with a carpenter's pencil as to their location in the head(s). I was 8 or 9 years old. I had moved up from just handing wrenches to him like a surgical assistant in an operating room. Sort of like A Christmas Story only in the garage. 1968 or so.
Hi!! When you need to polish rods take two small pipes over the rod one on both sides. Let the rod spin in the tubes put some friktion on the threaded or out side.

Top dead center...model As had a bolt/pin in the timing cover...remove the bolt, the other end was flipped over inserted back into hole. When the crank was turned the pin end would slide into hole in timing gear at exactly tdc.
I can't believe Paul didn't remember the ring gear bolts are left hand thread. All the driveline goodness he does and he forgets the most obvious oddball part. We all make mistakes though. In the end those 4.10s really make it scream. They will also make you scream at the pump, and your motor scream at 60mph!

If you can't find one check aviation engine suppliers. We use them for cylinder leakage tests, to find TDC.
