Talking about the NFF, these guys should be held responsible if Nigeria does not qualify for the world cup. The Press must impress it on the board and the chairman to resign immediately it becomes mathematically impossible to qualify. No stories. We must begin to hold administrators accountable in our football, not just footballers and coaches. Especially, in a situation like this, where we can point to how the NFF bungled the chances of the team.

Since we are always looking backwards, remember when Nigerians in the midst of a tournament were clamoring for this same coach to replace Keshi when in the same tournament he couldn't beat Keshi team and the Super Eagles went ahead and won the tournament? this same coach took Morocco to the 2018 World Cup and couldn't win a game and four years later a local coach took the same team to the semifinals of the world cup? According to you guys he was paid a million dollars and couldn't qualify Saudi Arabia to the next round of the world cup that took place in their backyard? Same guy who couldn't lead a high ranking French female team past the Aussies when they were one of the favorites to win it?
You all are here shouting and touting these useless foreign coaches but never standing behind your local coaches. If NFF had some balls and stand behind Finidi and accord him time he would have delivered for the country . But as usual, Nigerians are always looking for short cuts. If you want to reap good yam tuber ,you first have to plant and water it and also kill the weeds. you managed to make it to a weak Afcon final and you think you've arrived. Ask yourself how many goals did you score to get to the finals with mediocre defenses compared to world cup defenses? In summary, we are not ready for World cup and I personally am tired of going to the World cup just to bring the rear.

Forget Pitso please. In fact, never mention any African if a Nigerian cannot manage this team. Now what is the reality? The reality is that Nigeria can pay, not NFF. Part of this reality is that the NFF and football in Nigeria has not developed to the point of raising finances for itself. NFF cannot pay a top coach. If Nigeria is a serious country, payment of a top manager should be on the bill of the presidency. The men's senior national team should be seen as a presidency project always. This is the only way Nigeria can return to and surpass the 1994 glory days.

That’s the kinds of coach we need high profile who’s been around Africa knows the terrain and has won something. NFF needs to generate money themselves as well buy taking the super eagles around there world playing friendlies. They need to be creative get people that can market the Nigerian national team. They need to be sustainable instead of waiting for money from Abuja. We too dey normalise bad behaviour and say na naija we dey 💯 agree with Tox we need to call things out

Nigeria has the money to hire and easily pay Herve Renard.
The NFF and sports Minister should be creative. The NFF has to think out of the box and do the Needful. In Nigeria individuals own oil wells. Nigerian Petroleum belongs to all Nigerians. All the government has to do is mandate 4 of these very wealthy oil well individuals to pay the salary of the Super Eagles Coach. It’s not rocket science.
Nigeria has the money to pay almost any coach in the world. My humble opinion
