      Yes!!! I love classical music. I love everything from Marilyn Manson to Mozart. I get in moods when I sculpt some sculptures I’m listening to heavy-metal others it’s classic country sometimes it’s a mix of everything and sometimes it’s classical🥰

    I like the 3 stack of cutting wheels on the grinder. Very smart. Going to steal that idea one of these days.

    I find myself coming back to this piece over and over. I mean I've built my own house, built two airplanes all while working full time and weld pretty much everything I touch. Then Iook at this piece and even in early retirement know I wouldn't have the patience to build this. You really are a force of nature Barbie..:)

    ok. i seen one of your shorts. now when sculptures sculpt they use a light source so they can move it around their piece. checking different lighting and shadows to see what their piece looks like from all angles

    • @BarbieTheWelder
      @BarbieTheWelder  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve never heard of that. That’s a really cool way of doing things! I take pictures and videos and then observe the videos and how it looks online.

    • @johnhayes6414
      @johnhayes6414 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's cool too. It's great to step way back too and look at different perspectives. Lighting from above and being able to move a light source just creates shadows. Most clay sculptures use that type technique

    It must be difficult to try and get a 3D type of effects. Now can you do a video of what types of materials you may use as a mock up before using metal for your final product. Like wood,cardboard, etc. Do you sketch then try something to see if it works. Considering wood and cardboard as scrap pieces first...

    • @BarbieTheWelder
      @BarbieTheWelder  ปีที่แล้ว

      No mock up. Street from my brain to metal. I reference pictures that I Google and then print out.
