I paused everything the moment I saw your new vid! What can I say, its just a sigh of relief whenever I'm watching one. I really love learning new recipes from you, and they're not only super easy but also healthy and delish! That salad looking mighty bomb tbh! It looked so colorful! Thats the first time I've ever seen an eggplant that thick XD ours here are more of the long and thin ones, so I'm wondering if I can still do that. I do have a question and I hope its not something too private. Was it difficult to make friends in Japan? I see these videos that say Japanese folks tend to not go out of their way to make friends with foreigners as they like to keep on their own. Or did you already had friends before you came there? And yes, the maneki nekos were absolutely adorable! Well I'm not surprised to see a temple of cats seeing as how obsessed they are with felines. Actually eggplants here are usually thin too and the recipe works well with those too☺️. I think it’s hard to make friends as a adult sometimes. There’s not many opportunities to meet new people especially working from home! I was lucky to meet some like minded people in Japan but definitely took some time. I think it really depends on the people you meet . Some Japanese people are open to meeting foreigners and practicing English. And thanks for the recommendation! I’ll have a look ✨❤️
