I say keep hammering the silver age DC. Picked up a Showcase 22 CGC 5.0 a year ago. This copy was auctioned on Ebay. No water stains, no chipping, no foxing, no hand writing or dates. Nicely centered and most importantly.....bright green color. No pea green Hal Jordan. Nice deep color. I loved the price I paid. Took me two years to find the right copy at the right price but happy I waited. I'd also recommend hammering Showcase #34 and Atom #1. Showcase #34 pre-dates FF#1. Atom #1 pre-dates AF#15, JIM#87, TOS#39 and XMen#1. All have awesome Gil Kane covers without a bunch of bubbles and captions. Just picked up Green Lantern #4 CGC 8.5 OW/W for $425 on Comic Link. Looks more like a 9.2. Probably one of the 25 best copies ever graded. No brainer.
Thanks for another great video. One of the main reasons key comics have been dropping so much is that people just don’t have the disposable income they had during the boom. The free money from COVID has dried up, and prices for groceries, gas, and just about everything else have gone way up.
You’re absolutely right. Also, if I might add it’s easier to throw your money at something that is on the rise and there are no concern of losing money, which was the case during that time.
This is why I spend alot more on cards then comics...seems most cards hold value easier or I could b wrong but it's what I've noticed
For the Wolverine Limited Series 1, I think the newstand version sells for significantly more than the direct edition (like double it).

You know what one Bronze Age I’m at least looking to buy and that MS 5 is on my radar as well to put back into the collection but agree 7.0 or higher
Great video the first Flash and Green Lantern are both Super grails and I agree Green Lantern is undervalued!
Some people gambling on those risky books, Im surprised they haven't lowered in price in the past 90 days.
I’m less worried about CGC scandals with signed books than just universal. It was a lot more challenging to scam using signatures

I think that showcase was a good deal. I LOVED that transformers double ss.... I'll be watching for a 9.6 or 9.8 double ss now😅
I think now is definitely the time to buy those transformer books, for that matter, I would start buying G.I. Joe as well. We know that they are going to making a new movie with the two of them come together and I see these prices just going up.
in general, how much do you subtract when buying a raw as opposed to a slabbed comic?

Honestly I just want to be under gpa last sale or close to it. I personally don’t think CGC holds more value than raws. But that’s just me

Might Comics, can you do a video of the top 10 comics everyone needs in there collection that is $100 or less? I think Batman the Killing Joke,Sandman#1, Superman#75,The Dark Knight Returns set, X-Men#1 Magneto 1990's,Watchmen#1, Amazing Spiderman#316,Dead Pool kills the marvel universe, Spawn#1 and Punisher#1 Mini Series, that would be my picks but you can probably make a better list.
Personally I don’t think $100 books need to be owned by everyone. It’s personal preference

@@jarredsmith9187 it’s personal preference. I like the Batman stories like death in the family, watchmen , hush, Wolverine 1-4 , etc
@@mightycomicsandcollectibles I just think you could make a good video of 10 good books that every collect needs to read cause our of all the comic people on TH-cam I like your channel the best. I still think Batman the killing Joke,Dark Knight Returns set,Amazing Spiderman#316 and Sandman#1 needs to be in everyone's collection cause those are some really good stores plus they will hold value too cause I have seen so many people that collect comics to read and when they go to sell there collection,they don't even get the money back they spent buying the comics so to me it is a good idea to always have some keys.

The stan lee auto comic is sweet i want a stan lee auto n eventually will buy one but only if its psa graded...that comic could 100% be a 7.0 but we can't see the pages u don't know if its missing pages or what... This scam is crazy n just makes me believe my choice too spend extra $ to have psa only grade my stuff is the best thing too do
