- The Lallantop team reached Basirhat to cover West Bengal Loksabha Elections 2024. We went to the Sandeshkhali area of Basirhat which is in the news and is one the hottest topics of this election. Sonal Pateria met women of Sandeshkhali and asked about what they went through, what was the fear of Sheikh Shajahan and what their Electoral issues are. We also asked about their take of Mamata Banerjee and PM Modi. From Basirhat seat BJP has fielded victim of Sandeshkhali - Rekha Patra and TMC has given ticket to Haji Nurul Ismal.
