Barcelo Maya Palace is a 5-star hotel that is part of the Barcelo Maya Grand 6-hotel resort, which is one of the most beautiful resorts in the area, offering 24-hour all-inclusive services. It is also situated on one of the finest beaches in the Riviera Maya. The Barceló Maya Palace has six restaurants, each with a view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Restaurants with buffets and à la carte menus that specialize in Brazilian, French, Caribbean (seafood), and other international cuisines. This hotel also has three spectacular pools, one for adults only and one for children. It has a gym, a retail center, a U-Spa, a mini-club, and the U-Kids Spa. Sports enthusiasts may compete in the sea or in sports-specific areas. At night, there is a fantastic array of amusement and recreation choices, either at Barcelo Maya Palace or at the resort's shared mall.
We just spent some time at this luxury resort and had a great time; everyone from the receptionist to the cleaning staff did an excellent job of keeping tourists happy. The food at the buffets and restaurants was very good and plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the Brazilian restaurant "Rodizio," which we recommend visiting while you're there. This hotel has numerous swimming places, ranging from large pools to beautiful shallow beaches ideal for families with children. Anyone searching for a piece of paradise would like this resort.

Location - 5/5 Stars (Located on one of the most beautiful BEACHES in the Riviera Maya.)
Beach 4.5/5 Stars (White sand beach, but watch for corrals in some areas.)
Reception - 5/5 Stars (Nice and professional.)
Service - 5/5 Stars (Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to keep us happy.)
Buffet - 4.5/5 Stars (Good food but occasionally repetitive.)
Restaurants - 4.5/5 Stars (Brazilian restaurant was our favorite.)
Rooms - 5/5 Stars (We stayed in Junior Suite. Very clean with all the amenities working properly.)
Sleep Quality - 5/5 Stars (To replace the bed linens, simply place them on the floor; otherwise, they will not be changed)
Cleanliness - 5/5 Stars
Internet- 5/5 Stars
Our only recommendation to the hotel's management is to consider installing a complimentary luggage scale in the lobby for tourists leaving this beautiful property and heading to the airport.

We recommend making dinner reservations for à la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive at your hotel. In the event that all three of the Barcelo Palace's à la carte dining options are fully booked, you can request a reservation at one of the other Barcelo hotels. Remember staying at Barcelo Maya Palace gives you access to all the facilities at 4 other Barcelo hotels (Tropical, Colonial, Caribe and Beach) inside this large resort. The Barcelo Maya Colonial has a good Mediterranean restaurant that we recommend. The Barcelo Maya Mall is a great place to spend an evening because it has so many different things to do, from bowling to a casino to a sports bar. We hope you like it and have fun.

We didn't have time to book a restaurant because it was such a short trip, but the buffet was sufficient; everything was fresh and tasty. The mall at this resort was an excellent addition for evening entertainment. The surroundings are extremely appealing!!!

The beach is not crowded in the morning, until about 11:30 a.m. People like to come in the morning and place their towels on beach chairs, so if the hotel is very busy and you arrive late, you may have difficulty finding a beach chair.
