FYI, one of healthiest ways to sweeten a tomato sauce is to add a whole carrot while your sauce is cooking, remove it before serving. Great video. Keep up the great work.
I know this is a food video, but I must say you have a FANTASTIC speaking voice! Perfect for television commercials.
Thanks for giving ingredients in both English and Metric systems. From an American living in Spain.😊
Just made some for a test as we have several vegetarian guests tomorrow, absolutely wonderful !!! It's an open secret that quite a few vegetarian "meats" you will find in stores are very heavily processed with tons of additives, but this is super-tasty without processed ingredients.
I became vegan 8 months ago and this is perfect for me! I just made a big pot of sauce and need something to go with it thank you, Albert! 🎉
What did u substitute egg with ? I'm a vegetarian..dnt consume eggs
@@blahdelablah@rachanasoma776
I would use chickpea flour. Regular all purpose flour would probably work too, as the egg here is a binding ingredient.
I would use a flax egg:
1Tbs ground flaxseed
2.5 Tbs water
Let it congeal for 10 min!
Also, Bob's Red Mill had a great egg substitute
Just made these for lunch. I added a teeny bit of red pepper flakes. Soooooooo tasty!!! Thank you!!!!❤
My daughter is vegetarian. I’m cooking this for Christmas dinner. I myself don’t eat much meat. Thank you for sharing this recipe. This will be our main course with yams, and others veggies on side. To those who celebrate Christmas have a wonderful holiday.
I'm an American living in Galicia Spain & I love your channel!! I have cooked 3 of your other recipes from previous videos & so far ALL OF THEM ARE DELICIOUS 💯😀 Thank you for yet ANOTHER great dish ❤
You made it to 500K! Congratulations on your success, Albert! Your channel is amazing! ❤🎉❤🎉
So beautiful and inexpensive at the same time. Albert you never disappoint-- thank you for the inspiration and recipe!
As a vegan, chick peas are a favorite versatile staple in my pantry. This recipe was easy and delicious, a new addtion to my regular meal rotation. To make it GF and vegan, I subbed the bread crumbs with chickpea flour (besan), needing a little extra water, and used a flax egg. Thank you!
Thanks! I was wondering how I cud make it vegan and gluten free. Great idea. xx
What about bloating?
I knew beans cause bloating 😢 so I'm afraid about being vegan
@@user-sy9gj2ny4iYou can try eating smaller beans first, like lentils, then work your way up to bigger beans. You can also soak beans overnight, dump the water in the morning, and cook the beans in fresh water with KOMBU. That helps a a lot. Give it a try!
I love it that you have lots of vegetarian recipes since I don’t eat meat, your recipes not long easily and quick it’s so delicious, thank you ❤❤
I’m not a veggie but these look totally delicious. I shall be making them. Thanks for sharing x
This recipe is SOOOO…..GOOD! We cooked it immediately right after we watched this video. It tastes so delicious! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe to us! ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent recipe again! I used an air fryer to cut down on oil usage and it turned out pretty good with the same ingredients. Thanks.
Idk how I came across this channel but I’ve watch a few videos and now want to go stock pile chickpeas. You make plant based meals look so effortless and delicious!
Thank you for putting the recipe in grams. This is a sign of a good cook.
I’m an old cook still learning new tricks… the double spoon flip with the meatballs is brilliant!!
Cooked this today, I was so relieved that my veggie balls stayed intact. The taste was just great. Thank you again for a wonderful dish, easy to make.
You always have quick, easy, delicious recipes. I've made so many of them so far and will be definitely trying this! Thank you very much for making cooking easy and not stressful.
Wonderful presentation, thorough, straight to the point and a nice sounding voice, clear, professional, friendly and even.
I have tried several of your recipes and each time, it brings me back to Spain. I'll make this one for sure.
Your recipes are great tasting, economic , and you present them so well, thank you!
What a wonderfully tasty looking meal! Will definitely give it a try, thanks for sharing!
I really appreciate your daily recipes. I have no idea how you put out such quality content so regulary. Thank ypu!
Absolutely delicious!!! Definitely going for 2nds! Thanks for all of your approachable tasty recipes
Great work, Albert! Easy, fast, inexpensive, and delicious is my favorite kind of meal! 👏
So good, the meatballs were flavourful and moist and so easy to make. This is an instant favourite I’m Swedish so we make/eat a lot of meatballs.
What a great recipe! I look forward to trying it. Thank you for giving both the gram and ounce versions of measurements. This is my first time watching your channel and I will be back!
Love your channel.
Thank you for sharing this recipe, will definitely try! Love all your veg/vegan dishes!
I made a batch last night and they turned out delicious. I had no parsley so flavored it with nutmeg and garam masala instead. While I made the round balls I ended up flattening them slightly in the pan to make small patties and fried them in small batches about 5 minutes per side. The next batch I make I would double the tomato sauce but otherwise a recipe I will use again. Cheers.
I cannot wait to try this recipe! I love that you also give ideas for what to serve with the dishes to make them a complete meal. Thank you!
I can see this with saffron rice and a salad, as we´re not big potato eaters. Love, love this recipe!
Greetings, Ty sooo much for this recipe... I never would have thought of it.. Honestly with economic times so precarious, this recipe is a God send..
They look delicious, healthy and easy to prepare....Thanks for sharing the recipe....😊
This was delicious!!! I saw it at 1:30 in the morning and couldn't wait to make it. It took a long time but it was worth the effort. So delicious, I almost couldn't wait for the tomato sauce. Thank you for a lovely recipe!
Easy, delicious, comforting and healthy. I’m so excited to make this soon! Thanks
I just made these and they came out super delicious. I could not be happier with the results!
This looks delicious! i've been looking for a good vegetarian meatball recipe for ages. Thank you very much 👍
Just to let you know that I made it for Christmas Eve get together as one of the dishes, and it was loved by everyone! Thank you so much for this hit, which I am sure I’ll be making again! Hope you had a happy Christmas! 🎉🎄❤🎉
I'm vegetarian and always looking for meatless meals. This looks SO good! TY!
I had a gastric sleeve 3 weeks ago. I won't be able to eat something like this for a while, but I will definitely give this recipe a try as it looks so delicious, hearty, and healthy! Thanks so much for sharing. I can't wait to give it a try!
I can't wait to make this, the combination of ingredients sounds so delicious! I used to love traditional meatballs, but over the last few years I've stopped liking the heavy, meat based ones. This is perfect for me since I've been trying to find ways to add chickpeas to my diet. Thank you for such a well presented video!
I made these today and they taste amazing! I only had Italian breadcrumbs so I used those and substituted the egg for the chickpea liquid. Thank so much!
I have just made these, used 1 flax egg, absolutely gorgeous, love Spain on a Fork. Try it, it's so yummy.
Another healthy and wonderful recipe...Thank You so very much. It's what's for diner tonight! 👍🥰
I can’t wait to try this recipe….I hope you don’t mind but I am going to use an Italian ricotta/sun dried tomato sauce that I think we will pair well with the garbanzo meatless balls….looks great!
I most *DEFINITELY* want to try this. It looks so easy and delicious. Thank you so much!
Looks delicious ! ...and healthy. I will make this today, thanks
Beautiful recipe. I am not vegetarian but love having meatless days of the week. This is great. Love your voice, calm and even soothing.
I’m the same one day I’m vegetarian one day and vegan and another day. I’m a carnivore I love the mixup. Can’t wait to try these chick pea balls !
Oh yum - I have a can of chickpeas in my pantry, along with some homemade tomato sauce and I can't wait to try this recipe. I ❤ Spain!
I love chickpeas and am always looking for new ways to prepare them. Love this recipe and will try it tomorrow! Thank you! 😊
Serious respect for not a single splatter of sauce on your stovetop! I look forward to making these, thank you.
Absolutely yummy! I used cannellini beans as I didn't have garbanzo beans and it worked beautifully! Also, I didn't fry them (too much fat) but cooked them in the oven instead!
I was also thinking about roasting them for a bit in the oven, then cooking them in the sauce. Sounds like a great dish either way!
@@fernandoherranz4095 roasting them in the oven worked just fine! Good luck!
@@MudderGirl13 So sorry, didn't see this. I believe I baked it at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
This is a great recipe! All instructions are clear and the taste was fantastic! To keep the balls crispy I would suggest putting them in the airfryer for 5 minutes before serving them with the sauce
Oh I just love the way you give the weights then in grams never heard this done before. I love chickpeas and will be sure to give this a try, thank you.
Just love your many meatless, delicious, easy to make recipes!!! 💚💛🧡
Wonderful recipe and presentation! I’m always looking for vegetarian dishes that are also satisfying for carnivores. I also appreciate your brevity and soothing voice. Now a subscriber and can’t wait for your next video, superb!
This is great for tjose of us who need to avoud red meat because of inflammation due to arthritis. My husband said he would try it.!!!
I had some leftover ground beef with pasta but it's not enough for a meal for two for today. So I made these balls to add into it. Used dried chickpeas that soaked overnight and I cooked till soft. They are so easy and yummy. Thanks so much!
Voy a preparar las albóndigas de garbanzo utilizando garbanzos secos porque no los tengo enlatados. Los dejo remojando toda la noche y los hiervo.
Me encantan los garbanzos.
Gracias por tu receta ❤❤❤
I made this. Did not have bread crumbs. So I used wheat germs and nutritional yeast instead. Did not have onions, so I used the white part of leeks and half a shallot. Tastes absolutely delicious! Muchisimas gracias!
This looks delicious! At Christmas my family have a (deliiiicious, veg but not vegan) breadcrumb meatball from Italy and this might be the year I find a replacement worthy of the name! (I wonder for those of us who avoid eggs if it truly needs it as felafel don't typically. Great suggestions for egg replacer below if it does need binding.) Thanks for sharing!
I now have the best recipe for tender, delicious falafel type meat balls ever! Im making a big batch for lunches this week for my boyfriend. THANKYOU 😊😊😊
I know what I'm making tomorrow! This recipe is so simple, I can't wait to try it. Thank you🙏
I have started eating far more chick peas in large part thanks to this gentleman’s wonderful videos. Not that we were eating a lot of meat before, but my grocery bills are noticeably smaller. Muchas gracias. 🙏
These look gorgeous. I adore chick peas & I think they would be yummy in pita bread. Thanks for sharing.
This looks delicious and so easy. I've been a plant eater now for 4 months. I don't use eggs or oils. I'm going to give this a try by air-frying them. Either way I'm sure I can't go wrong!
Not only does it look delicious but it seems really simple. I just decided to add it to my roster of Christmas dishes. Thank you.
random youtube recommendation and I loved it as soon as I saw the thumbnail! Great video, great presentation and I'm excited to try making some myself!!
I LOVE this vegetarian meal!! Love it!! I have all the ingredients and will be making it today!
Your video is very clear, evenly timed, and your personality in presentation is well balanced and professional. Thank you!!❤
I just made them, and they turned out to be very tasty! I cooked the chickpeas myself, perhaps this makes it even better than using the canned ones. Due to the lack to Spanish red pepper I used some Indian spice mix containing chili.
@@TaLeng2023 They're canned garbanzos, but if you use dried ones, then yes soak them.
@@TaLeng2023 Yes, I soaked them overnight, then they need only about 20 minutes of cooking.
Going to make this recipe when my daughter comes down to spend Christmas. I'll make them tomorrow and freeze them, then all I'll have to do is get down to making the tomatoe sauce. Thanks so much for the recipe, it's great to get new ideas.
Does this nutritious meal ever look good! I'm going to be making this for supper tonight. Thank you for sharing. 😊😊
Tried making these tonight. Were delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
Love this! ❤ Making today! 🌟
@@SpainonaFork we are mainly vegetarian and this fits right in. My husband loves Spanish food. He lived in Barcelona and went to art school there. These food remind him of his years in Spain. Thank you for sharing your recipes. The potato tortilla (frittata to me) is his favorite of your recipes but I think this one will be a favorite too! 🌟
This looks wonderful to this carnivore! I've been looking for some meatless recipes. Thank you!
Thank you, will try these, love your way of teaching much love and bliss
Will make this. Your sweet potatoes w/chickpeas recipe was WOW. Thx for getting me into chickpeas.
Will give this recipe a go tomorrow. Just made your creamy mushroom rice today and it was a big hit with my girlfriend. Another dish of yours ( Weeknight Rice with Tuna) finds itself on our table once a week. Keep those simple delicious recipes coming.
Do you just love Albert’s recipes? I know I do, he’s changed my life!
Just like it !!! But the fact that the recipe doesn’t have meat , you should call it chic peas ball.😂
These were amazinggggg and so fun to make! So glad I found your channel. Thank you and bless you.🙏
Happy new year! That really sounds fantastic and so easy done with pantry staples! I will for 100% sure prepare these balls and let you know how they turned out 👍😊 love and best wishes to you from Germany ⭐️🤗💛
You need a voice agent. You should be doing all of the Spanish commercials and voice overs across the globe! Your Spanish speaking voice is insane!
#ASMR
Therapeutic & Nurturing. Awesome dish too! As a vegan, I will try and substitute to the egg with flaxseed. But it looks remarkable. 🤤.
Muchas Gracias. 🌟🧆🍅🌟
❤ Yesireebob!!! Saw your recipe yesterday..followed your recipe exactly today! Great instructions and perfectly delicious albondegas de garbanzos! Thank you, and your recipes are helping me out regarding preparing some vegetarian meals for members of our family. The only problem is that I want to gobble them up right now. 😂 Hasta luego!
Thank for such a concise recipe. I made them and they were delicious!
This is excellent thank you! Great to have vegetarian meatballs. I'm going to spice mine with oregano and fennel. Can't wait. Shredded carrot also works on taking the edge off of acidic tomatoes.
Great recipe thank you! Just making this now! Use a bit of the chick pea water instead of egg if you want to make it dairy free
@@miraclebub They are considered dairy since it's an animal product, just not derived from milk.
@@fernandoherranz4095 Incorrect. "Contrary to what some believe, eggs are not dairy products. Foods are only considered dairy products when they are produced from the milk of mammals. Eggs are laid by birds, who are not mammals and do not produce milk."
If you can't use bread crumbs, do you think rolled oats would make a good alternative?
Hola! This looks so delicious. I’m definitely going to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing.
The Vegan Version - save the juice from the can if chickpeas which an excellent egg substitute (aka Aquafaba). Now 3 tablespoons of the liquid (=1 egg) to the dry mix and go from there. 👍
Great minds!!! love this tip😻
Lovely
Thanks so much - I’ve often heard that it was a good egg substitute, but nobody ever said how much to use!
@@movingforwardLDTH I freeze the aquafaba in an ice cube tray so I always some on hand. 1 cube is 1 tablespoon.
