THANK YOU FOR A MUCH NEEDED LEG UP BY ME AND OTHERES -- I AFTER I get my life back in order we are definitely going to do this with Old Friends - I love the way Iron Sworn matches my old GMing Style with me spontaneously & collaboratively building up worlds and experiences with the players. Frankly that is the way to both have EVERYONE enjoying it and NOT burning out....

but your SOLO focus would be merely testing my ideas out first before going 'live' with the ensemble of players. -- Yes trim off the PHUGLY before embarrassing myself ;-)

Thank you very much for this overview. Inspired by your Ravenloft adventure, I'm preparing to launch into my own using a purchased adventure. I have books, pencils, paper, and dice at the ready, but was also exploring ways to track the adventure using an online tool. Roll20 has worked so well for you, I'm going to give it a go, and this overview drives home how simple it is to use. Thanks again!

One suggestion. In the lodestar expansion for ironsworn, the author suggests solo players may want to use the stat points of 4, 3, 3, 2, 2 instead of 3, 2, 2, 1, 1. I would recommend that.

@@DoycetopianWasteland Thank you for mentioning this. I will absolutely heed this recommendation.

Love this idea. How would I journal my adventure on Roll20? Or would I do that elsewhere?

Journaling would probably most easily be done someplace else

Thanks! I just started playing I and couldn't figure this out. So I've been keeping record of gameplay with all these papers everywhere. Question...one thing that isn't clear to me with this game..if a creature inflicts say 2 harm is that two health? Is that how you understand it? Also when I do damage (I know this isn't d and d with go but..) do we not effect the creatures health? Just purely marked as progress on the boxes and then roll against that progress once we get a strong hit on "end fight move"?

Oof this one needs a video in reply... More to come.

@@DoycetopianWasteland Hey if your inspired go for it! This game and is so awesome and easy to read. I may just have not read something correctly, plus perhaps my head is being purged from d and d mind set. You earned a sub for the simple fact you posted this cool vid and you replied this way. Regardless thank you.

@@DoycetopianWastelandwhen one uses their experience points to level up an asset...do you include the original bonus to hit or damage from the original (first) bonus and once you level up that asset add the additional modifier to that (compiling the two) or solely just the modifier from the new next level ignoring the original bonus ,,(modifyier) if that makes sense?
Do you GM ironsworn online or interested in playing online?

@@scourneene I can't think of any situations where the two qualities of an asset would-stack. Usually each new piece of the asset that you pick is a new (related) ability. Can you tell me which I said you're looking at so I can take a look?
