In Mercy/Tremble, you carried me. When the music video was released, I was literally nearly evicted from where I stayed the day before. And hours later that song came out. And you have no idea how much hope you gave me. I was at my lowest, I felt alone. It felt like God wasn't there either. My cousin called the police to evict me just because she didn't like me - purely out of jealousy. I praised the Lord, my God and Mercy/Tremble was the anthem for the season. You have such an anointing on you that I hope you realize. You saved me so much. In the TRBL Worship night You interrupted the recording twice and each time it's like you had a moment to reflect on my life. Especially when you said "Some of us have fathers who turned their backs on us, some of us have friends, who just uped and walked away. Some of us can't even call our mothers because there's no love there." Girl, literally everyone of those sentences describes me so well. All I have ever done was be there for everyone, for my parents. Love them unconditionally, and make them proud. I'm a medical student and I still feel like I am not good enough for them. I smoke weed too. The Lord took me out of where I was living and put me on a remote Lodge, with no weed, no nothing. And I came across this video. For some reason it is like God wants me to know that He doesn't want me smoking. I don't smoke often. I do it for recreation - most people drink alcohol and do all kinds of stuff. I just take a blunt every week and somehow that doesn't feel like the right thing to do. I love the Lord with all my heart. My biggest battle He gave me is that I am a homosexual. And unfortunately, He does not tolerate that. No matter How much evidence I want to bring forth He keeps reminding me through scripture and conviction that He does not agree with that lifestyle. During my stay here at the Lodge, He brought me to Isaiah 54. And said that is for me. He is my husband. I will not bear children of my own into this world but I will have children across all nations. His purpose He placed in me is now so much bigger than what I thought it was at first. The Lord uses you to speak to me on my short comings. It's amazing what He is doing. Thank you for being a vessel for Him to work through. I appreciate you Ahjah.
Thank you for being so open to telling your story, it will help so many people. God uses who He wants and He qualifies who He calls. that being said, I’m so grateful you’re choosing to live and face reality living for Christ. He’s so worth it. You are His beloved child and the trauma, the pain, the hurt you’ve experienced, commend it into His hands and allow His peace, His joy, HEALING to take place in your heart. “When my mother and father forsake me, then The LORD will take me up.” I repeat that scripture to myself bc it can get lonely walking with God, but as He’s become my mother, my father, my friend, etc He has met every need I have and has continued to prove Himself to be faithful, true, just, kind, and consistent, everything I’ve ever needed He has provided. He’s so good. I’ll be praying for you and your journey with Him.
Thank you so much. I genuinely have been improving. The Lord always finds ways to remind me that He loves me. He legit is my Father, my mother, my best friend etc. He is everything. You know what I love the most about Him, is that He doesn't just love me like this. He loves everyone on this planet like this. Every last one of us. And whether we live as sinners or righteous people, He still loves us, and He still wants to see us prosper in His name. He is so forgiving, so kind, so EQUAL. I genuinely desire to have a heart like our Jesus, and somehow leave a footprint behind that resonates How good He is and that He can use a wretched man like me to show how great He is. People think christians dont have issues and temptations etc and even christians themselves think they can out run the flesh but its in humility and submission to the Lord that we see ourselves truly and can then cry out in humility. God has given you the most wonderful gift and you are using it in an amazing way .

All of our answers is in Jesus and his word. He is the way the truth and the life. When you’re in the world it’s facts you move far away from God, but he will bring you back when you give your flesh up.
🤔 your young so being secure with yourself hasn’t happened yet, BUT once you are secure with yourself, you’ll learn it’s better to simply be yourself! You do this by trusting your instincts, setting boundaries, keeping GOD first, and understanding that there’s no need to seek approval from others, especially when it goes against your values. 2 Timothy 1:7, Proverbs 3, 2 Timothy 2, 2 Peter 3:1, Mathew 7:24, and Hebrews 12:11. 🙏🏿
Honestly I don’t think it’s about age I think it’s about what’s been placed in you and spoken over you from a young age. There are many 40 30 and 50 somethings still struggling with their identity, everything is not predicated on age it’s predicated on the person, and what they consume and their healing and what was place in them at a young age plus how we deal with it/affects us when we get older.
