I am a bit disappointed that he didn't check the sun visor at the John Deere combine.
Good light video Mike! I am noticing more yellow combines in the country simply because they are cheaper priced but do as good a job as the green ones...so I was told.
I think Mike should design his own combine 🤔😜 and I hope Lee is going to get him a Class tractor AND Tractor demo 🤔🤔🤔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
All combine and tractor manufacturers should contact Mike to test any equipment before is approved to be produced. I'm laughing soo hard at min 10:30 and 13:20
In regards to the sound system levels, they made it quieter so you are constantly aware of your surroundings.
I was unaware of the soft close door. Traded in my Case combines for 8 Deers just because of that 😋

New Deere sound system gets a little louder if you plug your phone in and use apple car play if you have Iphone.
The Demco tip ups add 180 bu capacity to the X9 1000 folding hopper.

On our international 1460 we can make the rotor go faster or slower from the cab but there's a lever to shift it from high and low
My experience with John Deere auto greasers are nice but I still definitely keep a close eye on it always watch the level never run it out and keep an eye on the lines that run near pulleys and moving parts that it doesn’t rub through a line
I bet you that the soft close door will fail to close after 2 years and than you need to buy a full new door from Mother Deere which need to be reprogrammed by the deal with a total cost over 10,000 dollar 🤪😂
2 years is still under warranty.

for the price of those x9s they are lacking a lot of features.. and that left side looks like a nightmare in maintenance costs with all those drives and hoses.. somehow the claas has a much more simple system that works better

The lights are on a timer so they don't drain the battery if you forget to turn it 4
Is the JD ladder from Princess Auto an upgrade from the NH ladder from Canadian Tire ?

Is that a plastic tensioner pulley @3:24 ? And what is the list price?
When they convert to electric in the future, I presume all those belt driven pulleys will be replaced with individual vfd motors?
😂 electric will never happen 😂 as no farming will get done for the charging required from diesel gennies. Plus the amount of batteries required wait for those fires to burn if combine fires are bad battery powered are a whole other level of hell fire.

It sure looks like the John Deere had the smallest/ most uncomfortable cab out of them all. Couldn’t even come up with a joystick control where you don’t got to adjust your hand constantly, paying these huge lease payments just for green paint

Seems so bizarre that Mike hates on things like AutoGreasers but then praises a automatic soft closing door. Sounds like an incredibly overpriced door latch for whenever it breaks to me. Especially cuz its painted green.

@@mikemitchell2554 auto greasers are great. Trust me the auto greasers forget about grease nipples a lot less often than an employee. Also no chance of pushing foreign material into a bearing.

I would be worried I'm gonna forget to grease one of the bearings then it's gonna burn up, but I guess that's basically the same thing as an auto greaser plugging. If only they made manual combines like the old days!

@Solar Warden yes they do. Auto greaser have sensors on factory fit systems. We have them on our loading shovels. The older ones and third party ones can let you down if the operator's allow them to run out of grease then they get air locks in the line. It's a pain then to bleed the pipes again to get them greasing the bearing or pin and bush. They are better than relying on the operator's doing it. Got them on shredders, screens and material handles as well.

I guess they can change out the diesel engines for electric add monster battery packs and put solar panels just above the hopper. Then you can watch the Western Canadian electrical grid shut down just like it does in California

I think HD45R stands for hinged draper 45 foot rigid. HD50F stands for hinged draper 50 foot flex

😆😆 Well In the 500hrs of harvesting, the X9 did not bad
100% they made the sound system worse than the S series. The tractors are the same. The whole cab on the new Rs is a step down from before.
I had a stereo shop tell me that the over complicated, no one asked for it, touch screen is the problem. It doesn't put out enough watts for any decent 2a.m. volume.
Needless to say i am in the process of trying to install an amp in the roof of a new 8R. Shame on Deere.
