If you have all of your tames face north when entering the arena they’ll be facing down the ramp in the boss fight immediately. Stand south of the drop or ob behind your tames on the yuty and you can straight away start to get your buffs in. 💪🏽
I did the boss attack last night, I can't believe it still has the same bugs as 2 years ago! The boss didn't fly down once and it was the last one to kill. Shooting at it did nothing. The only way I got it to engage with me was to hop on a Deino and climb the tallest ramp. I think it only targeted me after I dismounted the Deino. Another funny thing happened to me 10 mins after the fight when I was back at my base. I jumped a Deino onto the gate door, and opened the gate while it was still attached. The game then threw me/Deino back into the boss fight! Luckily I had a teleporter mod on me and was able to teleport back again, scary!
this doesn't work as smoothly if you're trying to do it on official btw. the element isn't auto harvested into your inventory like it is on single player, so you won't get anything from the manticore if it dies to bleed or while in the air. The bosses also do target the deinonychus eventually, as you can even see in this video, but it's just that they will try and target the biggest dino in their range first and usually die before they even switch targets.
Yes, great Video. I noticed that when I brought 18 Velanos and 2 Rexes into the arena then the bosses would mostly ignore the velanos and go for the rexes.
@@TeachersGameToo Gamma is always pretty easy, it is a constant influx of elemnt. Getting the corco skins is the only tough thing. Artifact of the skylord is where I always find it tough, I hate going down into the trench to get this. I have not tried the alpha to be honest because the BETA always costs me two 70k health and 2k dmg tech rexes. The dragon just rips through them. With the bate and switch of rexes front and Velanos in the back peppering the bosses I fare quite good. I should use a yuty for the boost but I just make insane dmg riding my velano. Alpha would just kill nearly all I have for sure. Though, breeding some velanos comes easier than rexes but the whole level them up to the 50k health range and over 2k dmg takes a long time. Kind of my strategies as I play on Singleplayer.
I love your videos they are definitely helping me know what I'm going to need to do when I get my Xbox One X and start playing Ark on it for the first time. Right now all I have is mobile and I've been playing Ark on it for about 8 months now and have my own server. However it is getting very boring and I'm looking forward to Ark on console. When you get hit you gotta stay still , when you move manticore changes target. After a while she will lock-on-you and land. I use gasmask there so i can facetank with stimulants on dino. Mostly player on yuty needs to do that. Don't let player ridden deinos to attack onto manticore, everytime someone of us did this manticore decided to never land anymore and just shoot to death deinos, not yuta.

I used a rhino with 1k Stam and 20 k health, and a lot of melee, as well as 6 reapers with about 100 k health and that SHREADED them even on alpha I didn’t loose a single one
Works to an extent, when manticore/dragon fly and deinos are latched on they take damage, also manticore damages deinos with its tail whip attack when on the ground.

Top right of the map. Just NE of the wyvern trench. More East than North. There’s a lake with penguins, I tame all my 150 Yuti’s right there. All day, everyday. Hope this helps lol I’m not by my Xbox rn, but on valg it’s like snow 3? It’s the very last spawn location. That’s where the yuty’s are!

Deinos can really shred stuff pretty hard. Gotta be careful not to lose them, they are kinda glass cannons. But a good breeding program should get them up to pretty mad stats
Shayne O'Neill very true. We have bred up base lvl 168 deinonychus with 315 melee and 1600 health. The bleed hitting the dragon on Val is over 7,000. They are insane little dudes

To make manticore go down You need to go in front of manticore and stay under without moving and be patient about it. Also better is to take a gas mask with You ;)
Dude I love your content but I’m having a hard time with the Val alpha solo fight. I tried deinonychus and megalosaurus every time I get shredded. I’m using good saddles and good stats. I’m trying running with the yute nothing. Tried zinos too the megapithicus kills all
ok but i have a question. me and my brother are going to do this together and i was probably guna use my %742 crossvow as a weapon but i feel i might need a tame cuz i was planning on being the one of foot cuz my gear is the best although i have 2k armour should i get a tame or just keep to being on foot im curious cuz i do have an insane mammoth saddle with %333 on it and might use it with a 150 tamed one just curious what i should do
Just an opinion,it would be better to show the stats of the dinos and their saddle before the fight or at the end of the fight. I prefer seeing it by myself.

@@finnwalr8859 you don't need to level stamina at all unless your character will be using the dino as a mount. No stamina is used unless the dino is mounted by the player. Just wasted levels at that point.
I managed to do it three times today with stats lower then what was recommended it can be done but get yourself some amped up Deins it will go smoothly

Usually what I do is I fight with a tribemate, he is on the yuty doing what you are, and I am on a deinonychus jumping on the manticore and bleeding it out whenever I can
It's lower level. If it's in single player it's because you're max dino is not turned up to 150. You can tell by when you killed a monkey it was level 20 some. On official it's level 100...
Never faced any of the bosses but currently gearing up for it with friends. When a boss is defeated does only one person receive element? or is it everyone who participates?
One person mate. One of the Dino’s will have it in it’s inventory, I grab it out before I tp out, or if you disable item collection, it can be in the inventory of the boss.

I tried doing this boss today, in 20 mins the manti did not land a single time, we ran out of bullets at half hp, and we lost everything to the timer.
That has happened to me before it really sucks, sadly it happens. We lost all of our best rhinos when this happened to us in the alpha fight

Well,how much Health does an Deioni need? 4k Hp ? Is that enough? My Deioni only have 2k HP each and 420% Dmg but they can still lvl

mediocre wild tames at best. no leveling at all around 1.5k health

What do you level on your deinonychus. Does their melee percent effect their bleed and how much health would you recommend for official.
On official I would go for at least 4k health and melee does effect bleed so level that too

Our official Deinonychus hatch over 200. It's not too hard once you combine your best stats and mass breed after.
