Plant some grains of garlic, ginger, turmeric, green onions, mint, and other herbs etc. Get a few more chickens and a rooster or two so they can get eggs, and more chickens. Do they have fruit trees there, mangoes, oranges, limes, lemons, breadfruit, etc? Encourage them to grow their food.

They have their own food an fish bu that I often not enough

They can cut the soap in little pieces and store pieces that your not using in a dry place to help it to last longer
