I listen to this when I'm feeling down. it doesn't stop me feeling down, but it helps. sometimes you need something to carry you through the emotion, rather than drag you out of it a beautiful piece of music
I just relearned the sweet part of this song. It made me visualize a calm and peaceful after death scene. I feel like death is not horrible at all, it’s like a transit, or a rest station before starting the next life journey!
an excellent ode to life. starts sombre, recognising the gravity of the passing, interludes the triumph of the life lived whilst ever reminding us of the fragility of life itself.
As a child....and when in the radio plays the obituary of somebody die...I Just heard this beautifull song...but not with the middle piece...that is beautifull too.
man if I heard that this would be something that would be like heaven if someone like what is like someone died and there's nothing to be in this would be like this would be hard I don't know what to do if I hear the song I'd cry but never mind
Are you talking about the rolled chord? On my music i have for this the first time it is played in this verse it is not shown as rolled then the second time it is. He is playing it all rolled. It is too far of a stretch for my hands too. Either play the rolled chord or just dont play the bottom note. Lot of chords in Chopin works i cannot reach and i have fairly big hands..
yes, practice slowly but always keeping the tempo. don't go fast on the 'easy bits' then slow down for the tougher ones. once you've got all the notes correct, then begin to speed up, but always in tempo
Well Steve, I just had to memorize my first piece and I thought it was more like singing a song, I remembered what it should sound like and selected the notes correctly, even if I didn't remember them. I don't know if I could do a whole piece since I'm new at this, thanks.
Tammy Clair practice practice practice... practice is the main event. Every. Single. Day... play it until you're sick of hearing it. Play until your back starts to hurt. That's normal!!! That's how you do it!
Learning about the Japanese Internment Camps was interesting as an American. And the massacre of the Native Americans. One of the deadliest was basically a sneak attack in the middle of a religious celebration. Thousands were killed and all they were doing was celebrating.

Mr Nagai hits the octaves gentler than Mr Arturo Benedetti Michangeli Frédéric Chopin - Marche Funèbre - Funeral March ... Personally I prefer the latter's, but both are lovely.

First time to hear the entirety of the song, and got surprised with the familiar tune in it.
