Although a lot of people are saying it's just gonna be a bad support, the most recent version of this class on beta seems to do damage on par or better than Genos, so it could be another PvE Magic class that everyone who missed the OPM colab was waiting for, not to mention the party buffs it provides also make it a great add to any instance run.
Does it really matter? It’s a support job so any meta it may fall into, it’s still just gonna be a support job. Just like Nihog and priest, they are both OP as support, but no one really uses them for anything else other than that.

to simplify it is either you focus the hero as dps or utility, from there you can make an easy adjustment. Devs have been releasing new hero classes very often so this is not new to players.

Giving the game content those players want to engane with.

It sounds like the devs have recently done some significant changes to the class in CBT so where the chef will land in the meta is still in the air.
