Thanks for checking out todays Disney Lorcana on a Budget Gameplay video! Be sure to check the description for links to the deck techs and deck lists if you want to check those videos out and pick those decks up! We're looking forward to brewing up some more decks when Into the Inklands releases, and I'm sure you are too!
I made a deck but have no one to play with and unfortunately don't have the cards or time to play and was just wondering if you guys would be interested in maybe trying it out on your chanel?
To avoid double inking by mistake like in your first game or forgetting to ink during your turn, we decided at my local store to keep the card we're inking face up throughout the turn and simply flip it back down when your turn's over. Working well so far and we're avoiding unfortunate mistakes or even arguments between players with that.
@@luckylass13 I tried it in a ''win-a-box'' tournament that was not in my regular store and nobody said a thing and many people thought it was a good idea.
Really enjoyed the healing deck! Looking forward to making it with the cards I have right now and buying some singles. Looking forward to see some decks like these with the new locations available in the future!
What a game 2! Casual games like this is what keeps me enjoying it especially with the state meta currently. Can’t wait to see the tribal decks you guys come up with for set 3
I just found out about Lorcana TCG a little while ago, and I like the way you two talk about it. I'll be checking out your other videos on it! Thanks for the video!
Good video. These decks are actually really well balanced against each other. As far as names for the format of budget decks. I have a few suggestions. Poorcana Budgeted Happiness Cheap Shots. Low Cost, High Quality. Discount Decks Money can't buy happiness. Broken Decks for Broke People Broke Back Decklists The Lore Lab. (Frankensteining Decks on a budget.) Living Lorcana Loca Cheaper buy the dozen. Consider the Decklists Let the cost Rage on. SMASH!... the cost. Cardboard ain't Cheap. Cost Curve. The bearded deckbuilders Brave Little Deckbuilders Decks on the other side Deck of all trades, a budget of none. Inklets Decked out The Decks of Hazard. Decktionary And many more where that came from. Just some food for thought 🙃
after watching these games i have finally decieded what to change on the heal deck - remove all develop your brain, all 4c ariel, both maurice workshops, 1 1c jasmine - add 3 one jump ahead, 4 granmma tala, 1 grand babbie and 3 last stand if i was not considering the budget i would also -remove the nicks, 1 3c and 1 5c jasmine for 4 rapunzel Gifted with Healing
Like what you're thinking! Both of these decks were really just relatively quick first drafts at the idea. We will absolutely be updating/tinkering/upgrading these decks and ideas as time goes for sure!
long time magic player, new to lorcana. Your videos helped me get ease into the game, and great games especially the second one! I've been drawn to item revolved strategies the most, hopefully it can get more competitive with future sets. Now am also interested in healing amber after watching. Thanks for the videos.
You can! I'm sure if there's enough mono color support where you'd want to just yet, but there's nothing stopping you from building a mono ink deck. We will probably build some of those decks in the future for sure!
@@Xoulrath_ Who said anything about the route of Magic? lol I just gave an opinion of what I want to see in the game. Also, don't believe anywhere does anything state about cards in your inkwell being "exiled."
@@hobbiesnhappiness I didn't day that it did. But if you're familiar with Magic at all, removing a target from game PERMANENTLY removed it from the game. Wizards later simplified that phrase and simply referred to it as a target being exiled. There was an actual point in time where exiled cards couldn't be interacted with. Then they made it such that exiled cards could be interacted with. It gave ZERO meaning to cards and abilities that could exile other cards. I'd personally hate to see the situation where Hades - Infernal Schemer becomes useless because some other, probably cheaper card, allows a player to look at their Inkwell and put a card from it into their hand. Not only does it make it pointless to ever make the decision to ink a card if you can easily get it back, it negates effects like Hades and Let It Go. Additionally, it just adds another level of unnecessary complexity to the game. And believe it or not, makes it even easier for those who would cheat to do so. Anyway, if it happens it happens. Neither of us can stop it. If this game goes anywhere near where Magic has gone over the last three decades, I'll just find another game, the same as I've used Lorcana to replace the mess that Magic is now.

Would this work in tournament setting? 👀

Lorcana on a budget is simple and clear for drawing in an audience. Fan of it myself.

@@brionlentell Oooh! I like that.
i liked the amber sapphire deck, that gran pabbie combo is amazing
Game 2 was insane!! 😂
Poorcana
The only acceptable name

Have you used the princess deck more? I'm interested
One thing I am curious about is can you play a mono color deck? Or would you even want to if you could?

@@hobbiesnhappiness Awesome can’t wait to see those! Amazing win at the end btw!
Would you update these decks with any new cards at all?
How do you make proxy cards when your testing a deck?
We use jorcana.ink to print proxies. We then stick them in sleeves with basic lands from Magic.
@@hobbiesnhappiness thank you
Here’s a question…once a card is in your inkwell can you not use it for the rest of the game?
That is correct. It is gone. It is only a resource for the rest of the game.
So far...😉. lol I say that just because I am hoping for a mechanic well down the line where we can interact with our inkwell in some way.
@@hobbiesnhappiness NO! This game does NOT need to go the route of Magic. Exiled needs to actually mean something lol.
