Its that time of year again! As the anniversary of Apex rolls around again its time for Titanfall fans everywhere to hold a vigil for the FPS genre. The battle royales & CODs of the world have completely strangled the FPS market. Wall-running & "Giant Mechs" weren't as fun as cross media promotional tie-ins and battlepasses. To any teens reading this: Multiplayer FPS games used to be fun to play just as they were. Progress towards unlocking abilities, gear & weapons were an extra FREE bonus that weren't on seasonal time limits to get before they went away. The games used to be focused on the gameplay more than the cosmetics believe it or not!... Now they're monolithic babysitters for kids you know & hangouts for people who care more about their cosmetics than they do anything to do with the combat. R.I.P High flying, Fast moving FPS games ...at least I can still TEAR it up in single-player with Doom.
Come oooonnn, EA, make Titanfall 3 already! You have millions of Apex players, and at least half of them would buy TF3 if you frame it as "a continuation of the story of the world of Apex Legends and Titanfall". You could have cross account linking where leveling up in TF gets you lootboxes in Apex or something, people would give you money! You have nothing to lose, people know TF is a good brand you need to capitalise on it or you'll look stupid!
