The WK&S is truly the hidden gem of the regions tourist railroads. Others in the area might have bigger budgets and longer runs, but none can beat the scenery and relaxing atmosphere.
I love the wk&s, my wife and I did many rides there. I like the moonlight ride the host sometimes. That lne engine looks great since they repainted it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you and thanks to RJ. Excellent video, RJ sent me the link and I finally got to watch it! Folks if you like this video please come out and see it in person.
I definitely hope we get some more GE 65 tonners on M&H like the one they have here on this line. Definitely some nifty switchers to work on and handle and not as quick to jump the gun in throttling up like the two Alcos.
Their 65 Tonner (Red / Grey) was completely rebuilt / restored. It looks like a brand new loco inside the cab as well. They are perfect for this railroad because of the rail weight. I think they are running 85 pound rail and don’t want to use anything larger because of wear. I’ll definitely have to check out that railroad , alcos are a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video in a great location! That railroad is on my to-do list, and now that I see it I know it's well worth checking out. Neat to see some LNE equipment still being used. I don't know a lot about that railroad, but I sometimes walk and bike the LNE Trail through Lehigh Gap which used to be one of their lines. They've got an interesting collection of equipment there, and it looks well cared for. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Cool Nick I know some of the conductors who works at WK&S maybe next time if you come up this way and if I am there I can get you a cab ride in 734 or that GE 45Toner

Definitely agree with you there! Such a great group / organization of people that love their railway. Thanks for watching! 🚂💨

That caboose is absolutely beautiful inside like stepping back in time
Above the door it still had the “ rules “ to follow listed by the Reading Company. It was amazing.
@@NixCrossing that's very cool it is all original then

Thanks so much! It was awesome filming there and all of their pieces are museum ready. RJ got a cab ride on the way back 😂
@@NixCrossing nice! Caboose ride and cab ride are both bucket list items for me. Looking forward to checking one of those off the list this Friday!
Excellent video Nick! Love that red caboose. That looked really nice inside and out. Looks like you had great weather. Nicely done
Thanks so much! Was a great railroad to film at and I hope to make it back there soon to film again. Maybe in cooler weather.

Thanks so much for watching! I did a moon light train ride last fall. The crew were really nice and gave us a cab ride up to the shop
Was this the same trip as before or a second trip back there
This was a different railroad and the first time there. Definitely have to check it out.
Pine cone. 🤣

@@NixCrossing it definitely was a fun day.
