This story kind of reminds me of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The evil queen, the princess' stepmother, was jealous of her beauty and being the fairest in the land. I can tell when I see the resemblance. Unlike Snow White and Cinderella, the two stepsisters, Princess Anne and Princess Kate get along very well and love each other. Poor Anne, having a sheep's head and wool for hair, and unable to talk under the plot of the wicked stepmother. I'm glad Kate doesn't take it from her mother. She is beautiful, kind, clever, and selfless. She helps her sister by undoing the spell before the ailing prince. I think he was in a trance while being ill. My favorite part of the fairy tale is entering the home of the fairies. It's a miracle, the prince and the princess have been cursed and the spell is broken. And then the royal brothers and sisters have a double wedding and they all lived happily ever after. How enchanting. It never ceases to amaze me. I love fairy tales, always have and always will. And I have love and respect for fairies, pixies, sprites, and many other magical creatures. Never give up believing in fairies and magic with all your heart. I wish I could meet the fair folks in their magical realm and make friends with them all. My one and wish is to keep the magic alive for all time. I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like them. Fantasy rules and reality sucks! No growing up!

I really enjoy this story! Despite her mother being evil, Kate is incredibly kind and clever. The bond between Kate and Anne as sisters is adorable.
