Between the pro coming on, watching her videos, guo juan's internet school, and your videos making up 3 hours out of my day on average, I feel like a lot has just clicked for me recently. Logged on and holy crap my normal rank's game felt incredibly easy. (Even against a flailer). Thanks!!

He should not have resigned. There was still a massive ko to play, he should at least try it. The 3 stones dwyrin pointed out doesn't matter because if w wins the ko the black corner is dead and w has a threat at p15 while black has no ko threats that are big enough. Katago claims that b has to ignore p15 and take the bottom in an exchange and the game would have been even with komi.

Hey, thanks for Raiding my stream the other day. My nephew Cameron, Nikki (his wife) and I appreciate getting a few more eyes on our club games. They’ve only been studying / playing Go since last February, but have really improved. The game suddenly ‘clicked’ with Cameron about a month ago and he’s now beating me (giving me 2 stones). Perhaps, that’s because I see him playing moves that I know he’s probably gotten from watching your games. If you’re passing through Hiroshima, on your trip to Japan next year, give a shout and I’ll take you out for sushi or okonomiyaki.

@@xoreign My wife, her niece and I were in Miyajima a few weeks ago, They’d been working on restoring the Torii for the past year, so they were allowing people to cross the temporary construction bridge before they dismantled it. Big changes on the island, probably due to Covid forcing many older merchants into retirement or marginal businesses into bankruptcy. On the plus side, a lot of newer, younger tourist oriented businesses, like brew pubs, have replaced some of the old. Have you been to Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni (an hour+ south of Hiroshima)? Look it up. My 1st wife’s family has an okonomiyaki restaurant a block from it. There’s a ropeway up to a small ‘castle’, but little else in the area.
