Your belief of a proper vehicle might be different than the next guy's. I think were are policed enough in today's world. I don't need what you believe is the correct way, forced upon me. Just as you don't want my beliefs forced upon you. Then again we could pay some more taxes and have someone police this conversation, just to make sure it is approved. Purely because all the information can be checked via a PNC check which is a police database system , so all they do is type in the trucks licence plate details and the information is their at their fingertips. ie insurance m.o.t road tax etc . And yes we get pulled over by an organisation called VOSA which is basically what is known to you as the DOT . As for drivers hours they can download your digital tachograph card and go back 28+ days and any serious infringements results in fines or even loss of drivers license and that in turn also affects the company's goods vehicle operator's license as well ..

I thought she 's in great shape with all the care she been getting from her owners?! What was the BIG Ideal for them to hold you up? +B Nack You can get air disk brakes. You clearly dont own or drive truck because theyre actually a pain in the ass to work on when rotors need replacement. Plus they're extremely expensive to repair opposed to drum brakes which are also tried and true. Both systems use a brake chamber system, so when the DOT stops you they check brake stroke on both disk and drums. No getting away from DOT or MTO
wow fancy inspection lanes for California never seen indoor ones guess they actually work 24/7 unlike other states that actually work regular hours. they don't even let you get out whats up with that.
Hope you had the brakes released while pushing on the brake pedal , don't ever push on the pedal while the brakes are locked down , because it puts extremely to much pressure on the brake shoes and drums ,!
The Supreme Court ruled in 1997 that the federal government can not commandeer local or state officers to enforce a regulatory program. More to the point state troopers need to start doing the job the state in which they are employed to do state traffic laws!!!!! No turn signal because some people seam to think they can play with their fucking cell phone doing 85 mph.

Oh boy, sure hate it that they had ya on this one,, cause that stinkin state is gonna nail ya for something if they can & take up all your time..I always hated runnin that state cause its the worse one of all...at the time I was still runnin OTR , their speed limits for trucks was 55 & ya better not get caught runnin 56 either..I did run 65 & 70 out across the desert from Barstow to Needles, but was scared stiff ever time ,but I was not the only one...& all us drivers used the CBs back then to kinda keep up with where the bears were...anyway,I knew they would nail ya for something..now gotta go to the next video & see what it was......hope it didn't cost ya a bunch of money...
What the heck are all you east coasters afraid of, I hate to cross the scales behind a J B Hunt,Swift,or one from the east, they creep up to the shack like they are gonna get ambushed you can damn near see the cab a shaken the sign(depending on where you are at says maintain 35mph and they will damn near stop every time,maintain3mph or 5mph they are gonna stop every time so what is it that you are afraid of???

That is why they should spec those trucks with disk brakes. Much less to worry about.

Correct. Points are assigned to both the company AND the driver when mechanical defects are found.
