The scarab is one of the most powerful weapons in the DC Universe. This is going to be dope.
Well, second to the Lantern ring. Green lantern or the Lantern Corps in General are said to be the most powerful in DC. In addition, the rings operated just as the scarab (its has “all knowledge”, self-defense mechanisms, and is able to do what the user imagines or wills to do). And this is based off Variant Comics studies and review

All I will say is this looks like a perfect adaptation of Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle. Xolo is perfectly casted and it looks amazing
Blue Beetle's look is quite impressive, the costumes will make more of an appearance in the movie. I'm excited 💙💙💙
DC Animated Universe especially Young Justice has been making a point of featuring Blue Beetle over the last decade. Y’all who want an introduction to the character before this movie should check this content out.
It looks like there's two villains. Susan Sarandon is playing his friend's aunt, La Dama. And Raoul Max Trujillo is playing Carapax, a Ted Kord Blue Beetle enemy. Very crazy. Very fun.
Susan is playing Ted kord's sister.
That was Sarandon? I've been anti-Sarandon for a while but I can ignore her since this looks like it will be a great film that I can't pass up.
He does appear in Young Justice for a good part of the series, definitely recommend watching the show

I'm ready for Blue Beetle and I honestly didn't think I would be, looks like a fun simple story and sometimes that's all you need. I agree about Shazam 2, just because I didn't do well at the B.O. doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable. It wasn't a bad film actually.
Unfortunately Shazam 2 the director didn’t take risks with the character or the story. He continued to make a very kid friendly film. And that’s what put a lot of people off with the corny trailer. I mean zackary continued to act like he was 10 or 11 when the kid actor himself is way more mature and older.

I was introduced to Blue Beetle in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. I also met Black and Green in Young Justice.
At least Jaime doesn’t have to keep it a secret from his family. Also, I didn’t know George Lopez was involved. This film might end up being funnier than I thought.
If I were to put Xolo in the MCU, he’d be Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099.
And I’d make Mary Mouser the next Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat.
I like how they include the comic books to read about the character at the end of the trailer.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm glad DC with all it's mess going on beat Marvel to a proper Hispanic/Latin@ family superhero story, which has been long overdue! I'm in it day one, and I think Cobra Kai nation is going to follow Xolo on this one. Great cast with Xolo, George Lopez and the girl from "Beauty and The Baker" (the sister), and other known Mexican actors I saw in the trailer.

I don’t know much about Bluebeetle. But I’m loving what I see and think he seems very cool.
He is very cool. A total badass, but a down to earth kind of guy. He was a lot of fun in Young Justice.

I was introduced to Blue Beetle from Batman:The Brave and the Bold during it was on air and he is also in Young Justice and the Teen Titans movie
I finally was able to get back to watching stuff on my favorite TH-cam channels and decided to start with my #1 StruggleNation. Glad I did cause this was a great trailer and I definitely want to see the movie. Also these two still crack me up with their back and forth banter. That Captain Planet part was some good stuff. You guys would like anything blue beetle, like blue beetle at times feels like the a more powerful Dr fate. Him in the beetle have this Naruto kurama relationship damn near and when they finally work together it's stronger cus of there neurons in sinc an I must say this might be the best modern dc film it is amazingly adapted spot on character from race to acting and the effects of the suite in the powers spot on, I thought he was black growing up, everything he's in animation comics games he's more flexible fighter and basically on some anime astro boy beetle Borg type stuff, and Shazam 2 was lit
