Don't forget she did say to Caitlin that she will always be in her backcourt. In the playoffs she showed she couldn't take the playoff pressure bcuz she froze in game 2 with costly turnovers and just missing alot of shots. Can tell it was her first time. Her & cc are the best backcourt in the league & I know km loves playing with cc bcuz she had her best season ever due to cc finding her in places other guards wouldn't. Fever front office knows she's important and will do what they have to to keep her. She part of the splash sisters 💪🏼

I think you're right on about the pressure on KM and the fever too about producing for next year. Thanks for giving us that footage of KM playing in China you know all those other lazy clickbaiters out there are going to be stealing that footage from you.
Kelsey is the most loyal Fever player. Her difficulty was her dad dying, nothing to do with the Fever players. The Fever management has made it clear resigning her is their #1 priority.
She doesn't have the choice to leave. She can be cored (and will be) and given a super max contract that no one else can., so it is not up to her. Oh, and if money matters, being CC's running mate on the Fever is where the most endorsement money is. She could play for free and make more with CC than any other place in the league.

@@jordanlj1 Pressure is a good thought, as you and Sam said. But it was be silly in the long-term. She's supposedly making over a million in China because Caitlin's spotlight highlighted how great she is. That will go away if she leaves.
Last season was emotional for Kelsey to say the least after losing her Dad. KM is a solid player and I hope she stays as she just started to blossom and the splash sisters were coming out of their shell. Let's go Fever 🎉
If the Fever can draft ND’s Sonia Citron I won’t mind Kelsey leaving. Citron knows how to play with Clark, is an outstanding defensive player and could share ball-handling duties with Clark. While not the elite scorer like Kelsey, Citron is an excellent 3 point shooter as well.
Kelsey isn't stupid. She lit it up last year. Instead of having to kill herself to carry a struggling team, she actually had help to take the pressure off her. She took 2 seconds to figure out how good that was, and then she started making other teams look foolish as she scored at will. This is Kelseys chance to be a full-blown superstar. All without having to work here and in a foreign country to just make enough money to live on. Kelsey knows that she's going to be a household name on this team, especially with her talent...I see endorsement deals, merch deals and a longer career where her body gets to recover because she's earning enough at home now so she can take the summers off.
I completely agree. This is not only a very talented ball player but she needed that extra player that could find her as the defense fell to the middle to cover and KM would take 2 steps back and to the left as CC saw the defensive collapse and looked for KM. Two very high IQ players. KM understood the advantages of CC and within the first half of the season a rhythm developed for KM to finally get the shooting opportunities. Loved watching the whole thing develop. I get what high stress is. And people either learn to shrug it off with whatever strategy they choose or they miss their opportunity to become one of the all time great teams and all time great backcourts. I already believe they are if not the best in the league very close to the best now. And to risk being the best learning to release the stress is the path that has to be taken. I really hope she is the kind of competitor to go for it and gets the chance to.
But will she get attention or credit if she stays with the Fever? I love them together but there is so much extra that comes with Clark (not her fault obviously) that I could see Mitchell going either way.
She is getting cored and traded if she doesn’t want to stay…. She might as well sign a one year deal with the fever and then see what happens next year because the league is gonna have a major shake up.
@@gerarddj51no I actually think they were spot on. Kelsey did nothing before CC. She ball hogs and plays no d. They need a unselfish lanky defender at the 2
@@gerarddj51 Well, we went through about 10 games of KM acting like she was the team, along with Wheeler....the old guard. They acted like they weren't gonna let no rookie show them up. Then CC started feeding them, and they started eating at the trough. Even when her stats went up, she was reluctant to give up the rock and did a lot of unnecessary dribbling. I give her credit for being fast and a great shooter, and I think she would be smart to stick around, pressure or not.
The guy in the video doesn't know what he's talking about with that point. Most athletes want the challenge that comes with winning a championship. Who wants to be on a team that never competes?
@ that’s not true. Those games whoever her replacement is under same salary can do the same. Kelsey also lost many games for the, because she was shooting instead of CC
@ I respectfully disagree. In the beginning KM did not trust CC and would not pass to her. But later as they grew as a team I felt like she AB, and CC, then LH picked each other up. KM helped us win many games
Kelsey has one of the hottest tickets in the league right now. I really find it hard for KM not to stay with the Fever. She's going to get max contract no doubt. She's a shooter and a play maker, and players like that absolutely need a point guard. And this goes without saying, that CC is the best point guard in the league. KM will keep increasing her fan base, her image, and her value by sticking with the Fever. Sure, the pressure is going to be there. Being as that the Fever have a "title or bust" mentality. But it's not like it's going to be any easier for KM with another team. CC is going to give her all the shots she can handle
I think Kelsey is exploring already and is testing the waters but like she said, it's about her business. There are a lot of factors that will come into play with the decisions to leave. If she did leave, will she have more salary? Will she have more playing time? Will she be a good fit to the other team? All these considering each team has already have an established bond. I think those are the few factors that will be taken into consideration. It is true, a very big pressure did ride on the Fever Team now with all the media attention they are getting and yes, the fans are more critical than ever. They scrutinize every thing inside and outside the court for the tinies mistake they did on the court and they attack the players forgetting that they are also human who has off days. I really hope Kelsey stays in the Fever because what they have accomplished this season is just a start of something great, but if she did decides to go free agency, I wish her nothing more but happiness in what ever she decides on and will keep supporting her.
Kelsey is as fun to watch as anyone on the team now. She has a tendency to take advantage of defensive eyes on CC, AB, LH. She floats around, watches and shows up alone or defense slowly falling off, two steps in the opposite direction and CC, who I am sure has another set of eyes on each side of that ponytail, whips that ball into KM’s hands and points on the board. The coaching change is going to be a big addition for all the players but KM can take advantage of the individual coaching very quickly due to her years of experience in the league. Very exciting. She is quiet and does her job on the floor. Love watching her find the seams. She sticks with the Fever, endorsements will be worth her salary x 20. Endorsements are coming the way of these young women quickly. If they take that next leap this year or the next we could see a total change in the way women’s ball is played. These women’s names will be a foundation of a whole new game. I hope for KM’s sake she is wise enough to ride the wave. She certainly has the talent. KM finds the seams and will only improve working with continuity. I expect her shooting average to go up the next two years as they advance to the new plateau.
I’m hoping you’re working with Boston on how to set a proper pick. Many, many times she’d set a pick on the player she picked just got right by her. Especially with CC she has to be stronger and wider when setting the pick. I am ready for the season to get here. Oh and I’m thinking Kelsey is gonna get cored so she’s gonna be here at least next year.
3:37 the “idk what colors I will be wearing next year” tells me all I need to know. She’s gone. If she says all that just to return then she was just looking for attention
Re: those workouts w/Boston-- he needs to correct her on the pick n roll-- you don't want to turn your back to the ball in a PNR situation, so after setting the pick, you turn TO the ballhandler, not away. You CAN mix it up if teams overplay that way... but as a rule, no, don't turn your back to the ball. What if they're trapped and throw an early pass while your head is turned?
I'm not sure Fever fans expect finals next year. Some of us are old enough to remember Jordan. Mitchell has the personality for it, but her earnings potential in Indiana is as high as it will be anywhere. I think the most a player can be paid by a team is $250K next year, and that's only $45K more than she made last year. If she's on a team with Clark she's gonna have more looks than 95% of the rest of the players in the league.
Finals. I fully expect them to make the finals. They should've crushed the Sun if they didn't cheat and gouge CC's eye taking her out. After that, the Aces were the team to beat. Even still, CC outscored Aja in every game they lost to the Aces. The Lynx for the Fever and the Liberty were very beatable. The Fever will be in the finals next season now that they have a REAL head coach and will be getting new blood.
@@calicoe99 They showed me a lot this season. I'm in New York and I'm always a home team guy, but the Lynx did not make it easy for them to win. I guess you can say my desire to see the Lynx end up #2 again is aspirational, but I fully believe that the Fever's new coaching staff are not going to make the same mistakes they made last year and that they're gonna utilize their bench a lot more. Hopefully, with a Sabally hire and a big 8th round draft pick to give CC & Kelsey some cover, honestly, I can't see any teams outside of the top 4 (Liberty, Lynx, Aces, Sun) that can really challenge them. For what they did to CC in the semis last year to cripple her and take the Fever out of contention, I fully expect Team Fever to massacre the Sun every chance they get. That's going to be their rivalry this year. The Aces are the only ones that they haven't beaten yet since CC came onboard. That's going to change this season. I say they split games with them, 50/50. The Lynx & Liberty ironic enough are very beatable by the Fever.
Playing with Caitlin especially next year is a lot of pressure so she might be gone. That was my take from the article. Sounded like a goodbye type of article
Zero pressure. Nobody will expect anything from her other than being cleared as CC draws 2 or 3 defenders so she could run her game and make her beautiful shots. Right now she's in China beating up these players that couldn't compete in the NCAA plus she got a million dollar$ for her 2 months there. As awesome as she is, she's still just 5'11", 30 years old and not big on defense. She's a sniper, but she needs somebody drawing defenders away from her. She's not going to get that on any other team and now that they league saw how good she really is, they're not going to leave her alone every again. Her numbers are going to plummet this season unless she stays on the same team as the #1 double/triple team attractor (Caitlin Clark). I want her to stay, but she can go. She'll be 2nd fiddle somewhere else. On the Fever, she's loved.
I think she's 5'7" but she's a shooting guard, not as a much point guard, especially compared to Clark. I agree she's probably better off with Clark and the Fever and my guess is she knows that. She's keeping herself in a position to negotiate her best deal, which is what she should do. She's worth the maximum amount they can pay her.
Kelsey can go. As much as I love her play, the Fever have a line a mile long of the best free agents in the league waiting to take her place. The Fever should max her out and give her the best deal in the W, but if that's not enough for her, she should go where she'll be happy. She'll never be on a team again where the star guard will attract 2 or 3 defenders leaving her open to get her shots. Her numbers will plummet and she'll go from being a star herself to 2nd fiddle along with her exposure becoming non-existent. Good-bye to 1+ million view games. I love her, but I'd be mad at her if she left (while wishing her the best). She's not going to get a better chance at winning a championship than with The Fever this season and I want her to be there with them when they do!
@@tiffyco2378 No she didn't. The last time that the Fever made it into the playoffs and had a .500 season was the year before Kelsey joined. Stephanie White was their coach back then too. Once Kelsey joined, they never made another playoff. I'm not a fan of Kelsey Mitchell "before" this season, but I became one because "of" this season. I'll support her 100% whether she stays or goes, but the facts are the facts. She didn't move the needle for the Fever (even last year when she had a #1 draft pick to come in and help her). I'm only a fan of players when they produce for their teams.
Different interviews and articles with KM tell a different story and I have a feeling her management team would have given it to her straight and that is she would be crazy to leave and would have advised her to sign a 1 year deal at max for 2025 and then weigh up her options going forward beyond 2025. They would have said she could raise her profile to elite status during the 2025 season and at the same time earn a shit load of money through endorsements and advertising. The most important thing to such a competitive player like KM is the lure of winning a championship, because at the end of the day it is all about winning and being the best.
I don't see hear coming back. This will be her 8th year. She can be Catlin on another team. Kelsey is a point guard and it's her time to shine. GOD BLESS
I wish they didn't core her just give her the max and let her decide that is the best thing the fever can do she has earned it I believe she will stay with the fever but if another team is willing to pay the max it should be up to her
I have to believe if she stays in Cleveland her profile will be much higher and she will earn lot more in endorsements than whatever salary increase she may get.
Mmmmmm? Before the arrival of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell was not a team player. She did not play to win, she played to get here points and be noticed and she did not have coaches who knew the difference. In the beginning of this last season if Kelsey got the ball, everyone knew that she was not going to give it up. She would score her 20 plus points but seldom have an assist or rebound. Enter Caitlin Clark and things had to change. Kelsey is good, but she is just not as good as Caitlin and with Caitlin playing, Kelsey would always have to play the role of the number 2 guard. As the season moved on Kelsey's game got better and at the end of a game she even posted a few assists and rebounds. She became perhaps the best number 2 in the league, thanks to Caitlin. Her improvement was noticed and applauded by many, but, but, but as she saw it, she now played in the shadow of Caitlin Clark. Caitlin is not playing for her paltry on the court paycheck, she does'n't have to. She is playing to win and be better than she was yesterday or last season. However, Kelsey Mitchel is playing for her paycheck. From the film that I have seen for China, Kelsey Mitchell has learned much from Caitlin and is a star point guard in China, making plays, driving to the rim, grabbing rebounds, and distributing the ball. She would definitely be a star and get paid as much as possible with the Valkyries. I feel for all of the women who play for the WNBA plantation system.
If Kelsey leaves, she will also leave behind the support and admiration that she received in 2024. The love will not follow her because the love will be expended on the Fever and its players. Players seem to not understand that it is Caitlin Clark who has brought ALL of this attention to the WNBA, nobody and nothing else. Without Caitlin Clark the WNBA might teeter along for a couple of years but afterwards that it will sink back into its usual Pre-Caitin status.
In men's sports all the athletes are used to being under the microscope with 10's of thousands of fans. Most of the WNBA players never played in front of major crowds until this year and are now seeing how real sports fans are. They are shocked that everything they say and do gets blown up and most fans on care about their team winning. She may be willing to give up the endorsement money for less pressure, not every player likes the spotlight.
Worcester is usually pronounced Wooster (Wu as in wood, stuh as in stuh, rhymes with duh). Probably from Worcestershire. Worcestershire is a county in England. Or maybe they like Worcestershire sauce (same pronunciation). I still have to think about it every time I see it. One of many crazy English language rules. You would think by now they would learned to speak their own language.
While Caitlin promises to have an MJ scale impact on the WNBA, Kelsey would not simply be Robin to CC's Batman, she would be a part of THE single best back court in the W.
Kelsey will have a hard time on any team that is going to pick her up. She will be the #1 and have two to three players in her face like CC22 does now. She is in the perfect position to be one of the highest scoring players in 2025.
Indy gonna core he and give her a max deal! That she can't say no to! She can refuse to play, but why should she! A max contract can't be better any where else! If it isn't a money thing But she don't wanna be in Fever anymore, I think they let her go cause of their past relationship!
Let her go this last season was the best season she's had so let her go somewhere else and prove she can do better because ugh I'm getting tired of the ish we are not begging there's plenty of good players out there and everyone can be replaced BYE
She's a baller, period but I'm So tired of Kelsey Mitchell and WNBA players making themselves victims (what does she want fans to do about deaths in the family, I'm sure the Fever understood and Kelsey Mitchell had the best year she's had in her WNBA career with Caitlyn Clark.Oh my God, everybody goes through things.Stop acting like somebody owes them some special privilege because they are professional basketball players. Let her go pick up Sabou...go play for a bum team...I'm tired of it..$250k is her max period it ain't no tough decision...Do or Dont.
if Kelsey doesn't want to stay with Indiana fever,it's better they let her go and fight to keep her back, bcoz keeping someone forcefully is never a good thing to do,bcoz they will never stay while heartedly with, and if she thinks there's going to be more pressure, then she is just not built for this Indiana fever team, which shows she wants to play with a team for the sake of playing and earning money, but without any pressure, that's not a true blood sportswoman, guess that's why she stayed with the Indiana team all these bcoz there was no pressure and she was able to make money, but now with what caitlian Clark has done for the Indiana team,it's sure doesn't look like it's kelsey's cup of tea,so if that's the the reason she wants to go,she will pick a team like what Indiana was like all these years, that's for sure
CC’s toxic fans will try to destroy every coach and player on her team, just like they did with last year’s coach and players. That’s why Kelsey Mitchell and Nalyssa Smith are leaving. Caitlin Clark’s toxic fans will drive coaches, teammates and all decent fans away from this losing organization. Aliyah Boston was more of a star the year that she didn’t play with Caitlin, last year she went through hard times at the beginning of the season because of the fans hating on her. No free agent wants to go through the sickness that will be brought onto them by the CC fans.
Stop the trolling. Everything you just posted is an attempt to diss the Fever. No facts in it at all. Go back to Chicago. Hey, replay the Barbie night game and make it fun by trying to count how many Barbie signs and shirts Clark signed. Bwahahahha
If Kelz doesn’t go back to the Fever she’ll be making the biggest mistake of her professional life. I’m praying she is not chasing the money, there are things money cannot buy, and legacy is one of them. Kelz will still have more money than 90% of Americans if she is offered $200,000.00 a year for say three years. I know her father whom she loved dearly would want her to stay with Indiana . He would tell her “ Don’t chase the golden carrot, leave a legacy that will last a lifetime “ I find it hard to believe she would leave the Fever,I think she’s doing this as a bargaining chip getting max cap, and really has no interest in leaving the team that got her notoriety…
Kinda glad if Kelsey leaves. I am an Ohio State fan so that is a crazy thing to say but she never seemed to fully buy into to the program until late in the season. Like she had resentment she wasnt the #1 option anymore. Even last year with Aliyah, Kelsey was shooting 4 more shots a game on 14% worse shooting percentage.
I think it took her that long to get over losing her Father, not that she wasn't buying in. I also feel like she doesn't want all that attention on her. She is an introvert and she just wants to ball and be unnoticed after the game is over.
@@megladane I get losing her father and the trauma, but the Fever and Fever fans showed her nothing, but love during that period. She was never as unnoticed as she was when Caitlin Clark was drawing 2 or 3 defenders leaving her wide open to make easy shots and have her stats skyrocket.
Mitchell has no say in her return. If she doesn’t want to return, the Fever could do her a favor by trading her, but that is what it would be…..a favor.
If she wants to leave.. Let her leave. Cc made that team not the other way around.. kelsey is good but cc made her better. The fans come to see cc not Kelsey.. go after someone that wants to be there.. Use your money wisely and go after plum, satu, or someone that maybe didn't score as much but plays better defense.
If Kelsey is only staying for the money I hope she leaves. They are building a dynasty in Indy. Years of winning ahead of them. She can go play in Atlanta in front of 3000 people.
If she leaves the Fever will get BANK in return. She is awesome, but not in ANY WAY a key to future championships. She won't get any more money anywhere else (if cored). Trade her and get a top pick plus a great player in exchange if she doesn't buy in.
That's exactly how I see it too. KM had a really tough year on a personal level and that can't but make you re-evaluate things. From a business and basketball point of view staying is a no brainer but life isn't that simple.

I really hope she is the kind of
competitor to go for it and gets the chance to.
But will she get attention or credit if she stays with the Fever? I love them together but there is so much extra that comes with Clark (not her fault obviously) that I could see Mitchell going either way.
@ kelsy is a excellent player. Her experience is a bonus. She helps tie the whole team up in a nice neat pa
She is getting cored and traded if she doesn’t want to stay…. She might as well sign a one year deal with the fever and then see what happens next year because the league is gonna have a major shake up.
That Dumpster Fire League Is WAY Past Due for a Major Shake Up
I don't think she likes the pressure. Maybe too much for her. And she can't hog the ball anymore either.
@@Oneanddone14you clearly aren’t watching her games. Your statement is unrelated to reality.
If Kelsey doesn't come back, it's😢
Keith porter is the real deal like him already!!
He seems Ready To Rock. Count Me In
seems very down to earth.
She has an issue not being the star or main player. Why would you leave a team with pressure of winning? That’s greatness.
The guy in the video doesn't know what he's talking about with that point. Most athletes want the challenge that comes with winning a championship. Who wants to be on a team that never competes?
Kelsey was a huge reason that Fever was good this year. I will hate to see her in another color uniform next year. Fever needs Kelsey.
No she was not lol. She was on the team the previous years when they were god awful. It was all CC and only CC.
@ There. Is no I in team. Together they made a mean that stuck together. There were games they would not have won without Kelsey.
I have fallen in love with KP. He’s absolutely AMAZING! 🥰❤️
CC is going to give her all the shots she can handle
where else will she get 10 points on 5 layups a game from CC like passes?
If Kelsey leaves, she will receive a standing ovation when she comes back to Gainsbridge Fieldhouse🫶🏻
I hope Kelsey listens to herself about her own toughness and stays despite the pressure.
The article was beautiful but I feel like she was hinting she’s leaving. I don’t think people really read it like they said
I’m hoping you’re working with Boston on how to set a proper pick.
Or she was posturing to strengthen her negotiating position with Fever.
She also may have been keeping her options open while waiting to see what the coaching staff shaped up to be.
@GreatlinClarkFan-c5h I agree with most of what you said except for the Lynx. That’s going to be a real rival, and a real fight.
If they keep Mitchell and get a good power forward. fans, coaches, and players 💯 expect to seriously compete for the ring. Absolutely
@GreatlinClarkFan-c5h The Fever organization is 💯 focused on winning the ring. Much depends on a good power forward acquisition.
Aliyah Boston just got her jersey retired from Worcester a couple weeks ago.
It's her choice, I think it would be foolish to leave the fever.
Hope she stays. If she doesn't. Good luck on next team.
You’re not a Kelsey Mitchell fan. She’s given the Fever 7 good years I’ll always support her if she stays or goes.
@@tiffyco2378 Ahhh, loyalty.....gotta love that.
They will core Kelsey
Different interviews and articles with KM tell a different story and I have a feeling her management team would have given it to her straight and that is she would be crazy to leave and would have advised her to sign a 1 year deal at max for 2025 and then weigh up her options going forward beyond 2025. They would have said she could raise her profile to elite status during the 2025 season and at the same time earn a shit load of money through endorsements and advertising. The most important thing to such a competitive player like KM is the lure of winning a championship, because at the end of the day it is all about winning and being the best.
sounds like Kelsey doesn't want to be under that media microscope with Caitlin. I hope she decides to stay.
I agree.
I don't see hear coming back. This will be her 8th year. She can be Catlin on another team.
Kelsey is a point guard and it's her time to shine. GOD BLESS
Hopefully Kels will be back but if not life goes on.
All these questions when the answers are simple.
She could be doubting herself because of how the season ended with the ball turnover she had. She's very humble and private i believe.
It wouldn't make sense 😕 to leave!
Aliya is looking great. The one thing they need to work on is having her roll towards the ball instead of turning her back on it.
Core and trade KM and nylyssa. ..we should get another all-star, pick, and young player. She has a lot of value.
I think if Kelsey leaves, Fever will likely to core her and trade her for a veteran like Satou, Nneka, etc and Fever would likely pursue Plum
I believe Keith should be drilling AB on something the players in the WNBA have never seen, Jubbar’s Sky Hook.
If you transferred away from the Fever now, it would be like you transferring from the Chicago Bulls during the Jordan era, plus you're starting.
Man Kelsey not going nowhere she also said I will always be in your back court
In men's sports all the athletes are used to being under the microscope with 10's of thousands of fans. Most of the WNBA players never played in front of major crowds until this year and are now seeing how real sports fans are. They are shocked that everything they say and do gets blown up and most fans on care about their team winning. She may be willing to give up the endorsement money for less pressure, not every player likes the spotlight.
Kelsey will be back but if not then we’ll just move on. We have guards who can shoot the basketball
Hopefully Lexi Hull will be utilized more next season.
Can’t they core her and then she has to stay?
Yes.
If she decides not to stay with the Fever then Sabally would be a great addition.
She wants to be the number 1! Impossible stay were you are!
1# L. Hull, 2# A. Boston, 3# K. Michelle, 4# C. Clark ,5# ???? . Coach S. White
💥 FEVER and the FEARLESS 5 💥
Mitchell can't get more money anywhere else. It comes down to whether she wants to go somewhere else or not.
There's other players guys that just need a chance to prove themselves .....look over seas
The Fever can match the offer
She is staying, it would be a bad decision if she left now!!!! Too much hype and energy surrounding the Fever right now!!!!
Bruh. Kelsey is gonna be a Fever. Not even a question. She’s negotiating.
I think KM will sign a 1 year deal.
She ain't stupid she will be part of the fever dream team and win several championships
No matter what, KM like NS, this $ opportunity and basketball history about to be made is in Indy. With CC. Thats all.
if Kelsey doesn't want to stay with Indiana fever,it's better they let her go and fight to keep her back, bcoz keeping someone forcefully is never a good thing to do,bcoz they will never stay while heartedly with, and if she thinks there's going to be more pressure, then she is just not built for this Indiana fever team, which shows she wants to play with a team for the sake of playing and earning money, but without any pressure, that's not a true blood sportswoman, guess that's why she stayed with the Indiana team all these bcoz there was no pressure and she was able to make money, but now with what caitlian Clark has done for the Indiana team,it's sure doesn't look like it's kelsey's cup of tea,so if that's the the reason she wants to go,she will pick a team like what Indiana was like all these years, that's for sure
Spoken like a true toxic Angel fan.....well done.
I won't cry if KM leaves. I can't get myself to forget that turnover against the Sun
Boston, as already established ( in 2 seasons ), what she can do, in the paint. Why is this a "thing"?
Kinda glad if Kelsey leaves. I am an Ohio State fan so that is a crazy thing to say but she never seemed to fully buy into to the program until late in the season. Like she had resentment she wasnt the #1 option anymore. Even last year with Aliyah, Kelsey was shooting 4 more shots a game on 14% worse shooting percentage.
Yeah I get you
I think it took her that long to get over losing her Father, not that she wasn't buying in. I also feel like she doesn't want all that attention on her. She is an introvert and she just wants to ball and be unnoticed after the game is over.
@@megladane No one will be unnoticed on the Indiana Fever anymore.
"she never seemed to fully buy into to the program until late in the season"
THAT PART!
Basketball State!
LITERALLY NOOOO ONE IN THE STANDS IN THOSE CHINA GAMES...
Why would Kelsey not want to play in front of sell out crowds home and away? She’ll be back.
Caitlin Clark #1 unassisted in WNBA. Kelsey Mitchell # 1 assisted player. I don't think KM coming back yall
She's staying, she can test the water, but she's not gonna get a better deal, she'll get paid, and have the opportunity for multiple championships.
If Kelsey is only staying for the money I hope she leaves. They are building a dynasty in Indy. Years of winning ahead of them. She can go play in Atlanta in front of 3000 people.
She is being an activist for her right to get paid. No matter where she goes. What is she saying? “ Show me the money “
If she leaves the Fever will get BANK in return. She is awesome, but not in ANY WAY a key to future championships. She won't get any more money anywhere else (if cored). Trade her and get a top pick plus a great player in exchange if she doesn't buy in.
Kelsey isn’t going anywhere. They will Core her, plus who wouldn’t want to get a pass from CC??
I feel if she leaves in on personal motivation.
If it’s about winning basketball games she stays.
That's exactly how I see it too. KM had a really tough year on a personal level and that can't but make you re-evaluate things. From a business and basketball point of view staying is a no brainer but life isn't that simple.
If u LISTENED FROM DAY 1 U would know by now Mitchell wants out and SATOU is Not coming to Indiana . The new Fever fans are so blind to problems they created yall stil believe the top players wanna play for you guys 😂😂 lord please WAKE TF UP Indiana has a big ❌ on that franchise after last season and the new fans impact negatively on the existing league and its players . NOOOBODY WANTS TO GO TO INDIANA HELL Michell Boston , Smith and Fagbenle all wanted out after last season but only 3 have any power to force their way out with fagbenle already done Mitchell literally saying for months she wants to leave smith only still there for a core sign and trade like Mitchell and Boston stuck for 2 or 3 more seasons due to core and rookie contacts 😂😭💯❤️🤦🏽♂️ that’s all facts if u know You know
Sit down, Swoopes!
@ sorry I’m just a parent and day 1 who has a daughter in the league that talks about what the players discuss . Indiana has a big red X right now free agents do not want to touch them with a two foot pole sorry.
If KM goes south so be it. Bring on Grace. I remember KM as being a ball hog. Lets not forget.
The Fever will bring in a much better 2 guard then Berger.
