I had an '08 Daytona 675 and loved it, however, I really think you should've bought another beat up bike and repaired in addition to the customizing. Anyone can unscrew a new part and install a newer part. Part of the fun in the last series was watching Dado fix the bike.

I don’t know how much input I have when I’m not a patreon supporter but I would go with the arrow system just because triumph has a tune for that from the factory. But you could still go with another exhaust and tune it yourself or let it tune by someone.

There's just nothing to do here compared to Cali. Cali has the mountains and the beach and it was in a drought so rain didn't happen that often where i lived. :P
Zemeithian Watson seeing as triumph have the contract for the moto 2 engines in 2019 I can see a daytona 750 coming out at some point after they hit the moto 2 world and I'm so excited for that possibility :D
I would not have a 1000cc, i have a daytona and in the twisted road the 1000 are behind me and the boys on them are worn out at the end of the day, 750cc is the perfect bike, bring on the 765cc moto 2 daytona

Not sure why, but this bike looks 100x better in white. Sick bike though, cannot wait to see what you do with it. I've owned several Triumphs, out of them all, the 675 is my favorite motor.

I AM glad to see you went with the 675, that will be interesting. State your intent/goal, street legal 'track' bike or street bike with some track days, long distance "sport-tour" bike (?) and work from there. My recommendation for next time, new Honda Interceptor VFR 800 or Yamaha FJR 1300. Expand your horizons. Put down a 600-800+ mile day, 2-3 days "in a row", see how you feel.
I own a 2016 Daytona 675r with a Soupy lowering link (I'm 5'0' and 105 lbs). Even lowered, it handles incredibly well but I am sure the Ohlins have a lot to do with that. And yesssssss!!!! This bike does look like Toothless! Thank you! I am working on a design for a custom paint job to play on it, so I am glad someone else sees it too! This bike is beyond sexy, powerful, light-weight, and is an incredible thrill to ride. Nice review!
Very cool bike. The exhaust, number plate hanger (fender I think you call it) and mirrors are obvious parts to change. I'm a new biker and bought a '17 Street Triple R 675, it's fast as h*ll and so well built. Looking forward to watching your build from Edinburgh. Good luck!

I do like the arrow exhausts BUT I want to put a full system on this bike to get as much horse power as possible and save as much weight as possible.
