- The boys discuss how INSANE Kevin Spacey's response to his accusations were (timely, we know) which led to a conversation about a similarly shamed man: Woody Allen.... the boys have mixed feelings on him... not him personally of course, they all agree he sucks... just his movies ya know? and whether you can seperate art from the artist. I don't remember what else we talked about.

holy shit, Drew, i completely forgot you were once a defense attorney, and one who can pronounce zeitgeist not once but TWICE. Much love to you guys.
@@douglasmcdaniel9632 Betcha he wanted to say "mileau" but held back that second time.
"milieu"
@@ilyadepagewood5258 mea culpa 😆
@@carbine090909🤣🤣
I’d no idea he was a defense attorney in his previous life. Wow. Interesting
Drew hits phrases that I relate to, so much: " First of all, I'd have to be a good person to remain one" is that self confidence in self judgment that shines.
Howard Stern was always just so foul in the 90s. Whatever talent he has as an interviewer cannot forgive the misogyny.
I hate devil's advocate style people like him and rogan
He's a pig
Howard Stern has always been a pig person
I like you guys because of the way you balance work and home life. You're raising the next generation and get that it's more important than that Baltimore mansion. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
Congrats Cho! On both releasing the bee and your new gig👏🏼👏🏼
Something Corey says in the last fifteen minutes of this, to the effect that if you inhabit the character you’re parodying long enough, you BECOME that character, made me think of a novel I read last month. It’s Kurt Vonnegut’s MOTHER NIGHT, written in 1961, when WWII was only sixteen years over. The protagonist, an American living in Germany just before the war, is approached by US intelligence to broadcast Nazi propaganda with embedded Allied code. He comes to realize that for all the secret messages FOR the Allies he’s conveying, the Nazi facade is outdistancing the slight good he’s doing. A line repeated two or three times in it is: “We are what we pretend to be.”
Hit the nail on the head: "I think in his brain he's like he don't like the fact that just anyone can do it..." There are many many people who believe that there are proprietary rights to success and include all sorts of exclusions as to who is worthy to receive a right of passage, starting with the big three: Race, Gender, Parentage
Kevin Spacey, not guilty? So what? I still wouldn't let him babysit.
Trae is the only person on this panel that I would let babysit. Of course, those two would think that was woman's work and wouldn't do it anyway.
@@AZbluedot196 not sure where you're getting this. CHO barely goes on the road any more so he can raise his sone Bane while Amber teaches during the school year. Drew and Andie moved back to Tennessee because it's way more affordable and they can better raise their kid.
@@MusicfromMarrs that may be, but hearing men talk about 16 yo "women"?? gross.
@@AZbluedot196 not for themselves - they are referring to how other men will see the 16 year olds.
@@MusicfromMarrs ok, maybe I misunderstood 😀 This was just not a good first impression for me.
I accepted my baldness at 25 and have been shaving my head since then. No regrets, just be a hittin' bald.
Bald also seems to age slower. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
Proud of your article Corey!
Drew's mic is awesome!
Did I yet praise you for writing for the AJC? I doff my hat to you!
All this Kevin Spacey mess makes me sad. All I know is he was interesting as an actor.
The bald head looks cute and congratulations on your news article.

Bald looks great on you dude It matches your face!
A hitting bald.. love it!!😊❤
Was just thinking about this show, I hope Cho sings at the end 1:00:36 yes
3 ridiculously handsome fellas who also as it turns out are accomplished comedians!
my french mother would always say 'americans are so puritan!' she referred to the french as 'sensualists'
Oh really
It's no big deal separating someone's work from their private persona, so I don't have any guilt about appreciating or enjoying the work of Polanski and Allen and Gibson and Spacey...the list goes on and on. Specifically, wth Woody Allen, the Farrows look more dubious than Woody ever has when it comes to whatever the truth is in that case. Also, in this day and age, I don't think balding or shaving your head is any kind of a stigma anymore.
Nah. Supporting those people is what puts them in a place of power. That just allows them to keep exploiting people. Don’t want anything to do with them.
I have thinning hair, but do NOT look good bald. I will just have to accept my straw hair with grace unlike a certain ex-President.
🚫Woody Allen. You don't adopt a daughter and end up married to her.🙄🤢
He didn't adopt her.
@@Margrreethow about this? You don’t groom your partner’s child.

Love you guys ... Listen to you every week if I can ... I Soooo Hope kamala's gonna workout And just keep things going !!
45:23 Damn Drew -- "overgrown men who call in on sports radio instead of talking to their wives" 🔥🔥🔥
Oh, Kevin Spacey used to be liberal. He endorsed RFK though 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Thank you for calling out Gerard Depardieu. (Wow! Spelt that right on the first try! 😲) He openly admitted his fondness for SA, and nobody cared.
Yeah, was never much of a fan of Stern personally AND now gonna go check out the Uncle Rico Show 😂Skewwwwww! Thats some hittin' bald right there! ❤❤
I had to have this conversation with my daughter when she was a teen. Kevin Spacey, Bill Cosby, and then Louis C.K., Paul Reubens, Al Franken....
Al Franken, I'm sure, has done more than one tasteless thing in his life, but he is NOT a predator of juveniles!
The USO photo that got Al in trouble involved taking a woman's image in vain, but not actual contact.
Many have said he's a prolific Hollywood hug and smooch guy, and I dislike that level of presumptious intimacy myself, and would object. But I can't believe he forced intimacy beyond that on anyone.
Why paul Ruebens? He never interacted with anyone.
@@wcoasttigger Exactly. The logic was, he was caught alone at a XXX adult movie theater, and he worked on children's shows, so, something something,... pedophile? 🤷♀️
That was my point - he was a genius, and beloved for his work, and it was heartbreaking to see what they did to him for what was no worse than a private foible.
I don't know how old you are, but at the time, 25 years ago, they took everything away from him. He was treated like a joke in poor taste, he was mocked and reviled. He had to go into hiding for years.
@@Roberta-q1q right, exactly. My point in talking to my daughter about this is to avoid joining in on needless hysteria, to judge people as individuals, and to make up her own mind on where her boundaries are. I remember Franken being red-faced with outrage, comparing what he did with what Trump bragged about doing. He couldn't fathom it. Me neither - I will never understand how that went down. And Gillibrand can suck coconuts.
On your list ,the only one that hurt anyone for real is Cosby. Yes the others did stuff that was a bit gross,
Well maybe Spacy too ,not to sure on those facts .
CHO, I love the confidence. It's badass! Be your awesome self!
I love it when people see me doing something in the garage and walk

LOL
Saw Trae last night at the KC Funnybone, hell of a show brother!
You look great, Corey!
Corey is a very handsome man.
From a marylander, the line about the $100 for the Baltimore Mansion was hilarious 😂😂
No way, Spacey was acquitted 😕
A shaved head is the first step to PaPaw-ism.
I think the UK may distinguish between "not proven" and "proven innocent" ?
Scotland does. Not sure about England.
Had a flat top once and realized my head don't hit. My skull is asymmetrical and has random dents and ridges. There's a reason God has allowed me to keep my hair. It looks like firemen put my head out with shovels and rakes.
Thanks for speaking up about how we don’t care as much when it’s teenage boys being victims
Love the theme song.
Kevin Spacey: I never liked him. He always seemed creepy to me, both in acting and in interviews. I'm gay, but I don't if that has anything to do with it. To me he's just oddly... offputting.
When my husband started shaving his head permanently at 29 and letting his beard grow, I was like damn boy and started dating him instead of being close friends 😂
A-list actors still appear in Woody Allen movies. It makes me less likely to watch them in anything else. And I say that as someone who really liked his movies until he proved himself to be pond scum. Comment section: no point in arguing that he might not be. Anyone who marries their partner's child who they'd known as a ten-year-old, is one sick geezer.
The time comes when you embrace the bald and commit to it. It's easier and it's a superior expression of manly confidence, too.
❤

I only cover my bald, because I can tap it with a piece of soft foam and I'm bleeding. Exaggerating a bit, but, it doesn't take much. 😮😮😅😅
Why does Drew always look like he wants to make a dry rack out of my rib cage??💙✌️
Yeah I have a don't hitting skull. My hair is thinning too, female baldness runs in the family. So I'm hoping I don't last past 80.
Maybe if Kevin loses his house, he can move in with Howard.
Malcolm-Jamal Warner was in a TV show called "Jeremiah". Created by the same guy who made Babylon 5.
48:36 I'm here for sustainable comedy. Be balanced people. ❤
Looks like the 3 stages of balding.
Great show thank you!
So true.
When the stuff came out about Spacey, I'm not gonna lie, I just immediately hoped the allegations were false, like some kind of anti-queer smear, maybe extortion, maybe some weird MRA version of a backlash against Me Too (because the victims were male). I'm so ashamed that that was my reaction, because the truth was I just didn't WANT it to be true, purely because of how much I liked him as an actor. And come on, House of Cards wasn't even concluded yet, and I was eyeballs-deep into that sh.
But you know who convinced me I should be ashamed of myself for that? -The victims? Victim advocates? My kid who calls me Conservative even though I can't think of any way I could be any more Left? No. -It was SPACEY HIMSELF, in that cringe-y, bizarre, hairbrained home video he put out, where he spoke as himself but in the Francis Underwood 4th-wall-breaking style. And saying what? -Oh you know, basically "You entertainment-addicted scum, you know dang well you're gonna lap up whatever I spit out. It doesn't matter what I do off-camera, you're gonna watch me and love me every time I'm on-camera."
Like what the F was THAT? -It's like he WANTED to make sure that the opposite would happen for every fan that saw it!
Trae, is there any possibility y'alls TV show will finally be made? What are the chances of us finally getting to see it???
See you in KC, tomorrow, Trae.
I have worked with Woody Allen twice, chatted w him briefly once.😅
I bet you feel relief. Go Corey.
Corey, in regards to Howard Stern and podcasts, I know what you are saying. However, like everything he has evolved on podcasts. His biggest gripes came at the beginning before the quality had improved. I could obviously be wrong, but he was plugging David Pakmans' show out of nowhere and how great he was to listen to. He has done this with others. Otherwise, i can understand most of what you said.
Yes, Woody Allen is creepy . . . separating man from artist: Crimes and Misdemeanors is brilliant. If you watch one of his films, that should be the one.
God made a certain number of perfect heads, the others he put hair on. ❤😊
Mom got Dad a mug once. It said A Bald Head is Best in Bed. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
To answer the question in the title. Tiger Woods. Donald Trump.
Cho is correct! Stern is what he is plus age and learned restraint. He has it in him, still; just knows how to conceal it better.
LOL you all have beards !
I’m in anti Walberg mode. I get so proud of myself if I start work before 3 pm.🎉
Can’t stand Woody Allen either, the movie with Muriel Hemingway as his 17 yo girlfriend was the kicker for me. Remember the publicity at the time made my skin crawl
I'm with Drew ,I can't stand Woody Movies ,that he is in .
Due to the dearth of morals in the film industry and recording industry, I pirate everything.
Only Clinton Tarantino could resurrect that career.

46:04 "an asshole show full of assholes" 🤣🤣 Ok Drew stop flirting with my mom 😂 She hates Stern too for exploiting women. Right on. 😎
Welcome to the oldest fraternity, Cho! I think there’s no coincidence between shaving your head and being a published serious journalist. Sunblock is your friend.
Same Drew. Ewww to WA
I hope this is okay. The mother of my children died on Aug 18th. My son found her and tried to resuscitate her, but it was already too late. He is 13. I wanted to share a gofundme for my 2 children's therapy and college funds to at least take some edge off of life right now. My children are 13 and 6. I don't want to share the link without permission, but I'm hoping you wouldn't mind sharing it. Thank you.
It's weird, I can still listen to Michael Jackson but I feel guilty. I used to love Kevin Spacey but now he just creeps me out. Sucks cause "The Ref" was my favorite Christmas movie. For Woody Allen, I agree that "Midnight In Paris" is great. I try not to watch his stuff though.
Kevin Spacey DOES speak French, LOL !
Stardust Memories was the best Woody Allen.
Keanu Reeves?
Yeah, he's a good human. If you haven't seen his answers to the Colbert Questionaire, it's definitely worth watching. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
Congrats on the journo gig, CHO!
Did y'all know that Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh share the same birthday of Jan. 12? Stern was born 3 years after Lil Rush, but there may be something to the zodiac with their radio personalities. I will say that Stern has calmed down - a LOT - at least on air. He's been to therapy, and talked about it for awhile, saying it strengthened his family relationships and so on. Maybe he's still a jerk to his staff; I don't listen to him with any regularity, but I'll catch a recommended interview, so of course, I'm seeing him at his best. Stern does have goo gobs of money; I hope he's being generous with it.
The person that was mentioned on this episode that I just cannot stand is bill maher. Lord, that man has a huge ego and unaddressed issues. I used to watch him, but he gets his panties in a twist if he's countered, and he really took a nose dive during covid. GAH
Stern and his wife foster cats for rescue. I'll give him a couple points for that.
Is there ever ethical consumption from a capitalist society? I'm not suggesting we forget everything, but maybe we consider it too frequently.

I do miss Kevin in movies .

I know this will be an exceedingly unpopular opinion, but I've always wondered if the allegations against Spacey were a little overblown. Obviously I don't know the truth because I wasn't there, but I just wasn't as eager to jump on the bandwagon of condemnation.
(I didn't know the kid was 14, I was thinking 16. Still not OK, but not AS bad)
Agreed.
Kevin Spacey did an interview with Piers Morgan recently and it was interesting. I think some of the claims made against him were suspect.
I had a friend from Cleveland who thought Howard Stern was the schnitz. I always felt meaner and dumber after listening to him. Hey Cory, did you ever see that movie Talk Radio from the 80's? I think it was loosely based on Howard Stern.
The Behavior Panel on TH-cam did an assessment of Spacey based on an interview he had recently.
