    I got the 2023 Sight A3 great Specs little heavy (xl) 37 lbs went tubeless dropped it down to 35 👍 replaced the bar stem with a -17 degrees and 70mm reach cut the 800 bar to 760mm and now it’s fantastic .

    I just picked up a 2023 Norco Fluid A2 like your buddy was riding (except I got the blue/black/gold colour scheme instead of his silver/red) and the Ride Aligned setup guide really is some good stuff. I gave the shop my recommended settings, they set it up when they built up the bike and it’s been great straight out of the gate.
    I’m very happy with the new Fluid and I’m glad you’re enjoying the Sight. I think the 130/140mm travel, much like your Stumpy, is perfect for Ontario trails and hopefully I’ll get a chance to venture into some of what Quebec has to offer this year too.

    • @GoodTrails
      @GoodTrails  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fluid a2 is super nice.. Rob was having trouble with the trp brakes, how are yours? If you are looking for a really nice spot in QC - about 45 minutes from Ottawa is Mont Ste Marie. MSM is perfect for the fluid and you can camp for free in the parking lot.

    • @DasWauto

      @@GoodTrails all good so far on the TRPs. Solid bite after bedding them in and I’m liking the lever feel/modulation. That said, I only got a couple of rides in before the snow started to fly so I can’t really report on reliability yet.
      Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve got a buddy in Ottawa I should visit anyway so I’ll have to bring the bike along. :)

But time... I will be happily awaiting yours. But blue? 20-25 minute waits. Bromont is the best value I think, Termblant is nice, but costs. St Anne was also nice, but could use a few more runs. That place was very family oriented. Le Massif, only there 1 day. -47 at 10:00 without the wind chill. Need to go back to get a proper feel. But it was more about mature skier in terms of other services offered. Like bands and drinks I can go on all day. @@nostr8ghtlinzs596 I’ve heard good things about all of those hills! It all depends where I am, a lot of my weekends are spent back in Southern Ontario. I went to Holiday Valley in Ellicotville over Christmas break and it was excellent. I also went to Whiteface a month ago, it was also excellent. The best place I have skied is still Tremblant tho, but so expensive. Skiing is starting to get as expensive as MTB lol

    • @PeterCPRail8748
      @PeterCPRail8748 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Good Trails since you like jump lines and drop offs, aluminum is definitely the better choice over carbon. To bad titanium frames are crazy expensive with very few full squish setups. That would be my dream frame material for a full suspension bike if money was no object.

    That Stumpjumper didn't owe you anything! That'll be a big upgrade for you, especially the Lyrik up front. Enjoy! I'm still riding a used Giant Trance I bought from Rob in 2017. Much better than the Stumpy! The weight distribution is totally different on this bike thanks to the slacker head angle and larger size.
