You folks are ridiculous, the trumpet is out of tune? Do you realize that just nearly everything Brock makes is in flat tuning... p.s. the trumpet is on the off beat... that doesn't mean he's off, that's called balance, otherwise the lead and trumpet root notes would clash. just please enjoy the art form that these guys play with pride!

In the ways of isaacs writing, it means whatever you want it to mean.
In the song where he references it, I came as a rat, I assume he’s talking about how pissed off at god he is. within the rest of the song he’s ranting about how gods gonn stick it to you, and this one could be talking about how he thinks god is using you in a way to make more people and that you’re really nothing but gods cake, but that’s in the view of many.

Yhetti64 How much do you know about tuning trumpets? (or any instrument, for what is worth)... Trumpets, as well as most other brass instrument, are tuned to Bb, and the player can (and MUST) tune it manually as it goes out of tune just as a guitar or a violin does. Just google "How to tune a trumpet" and then come back here :) Cheers.
I play guitar and trombone, took 3 years of band, have never seen anyone tune a standard trumpet. The fancy ones with extra valves yes, but I've never seen it standard.
Yhetti64 do you play by ear? If so, just listen again to the video and try to tell me the trumpet isn't out of tune (or the player isn't playing good, with the same result). Sounds awful.
